This & the 500 are my faves.
Im not sure about this.
That's fabulous! Was it ever built? The engine looks like two V6 bolted together. They even have 2 sumps and 4 oil inlets...
But my favourite goes for this one: 1957 Fiat 500 Abarth 595 SS
...OOOOR the Fiat X1/9 Abarth... That shark-tail inlet is wickeeeeeeed!!!
I think he's right about the 2200 Allemano to be honest, although it could be a 61er as well
The lines are close..but the double front lights???
Does anyone know if this is really a BMW 507 Abarth? The shield on the side of the car seems to have roughly the same layout, but the colours reversed... I cannot find ANYTHING further on this car...
I think is the same car.BMW 507 Pichon & Parat,Designed by Raymond Loewy. The badge is like close to abarth but isn,t.See the BW images.Mabe is LOEWY custom badge. This BMW was built for designer Raymond Loewy for his personal use by Pichon et Parat of Sens, France. It was one of a series of experimental vehicles Loewy created to study ideas for possible incorporation into production vehicles. It embodied the simplified form he predicted would establish a trend. His influence was later evident in the appearance of the Studebaker Avanti.
Here's the "LOEWY custom badge" the coach built Loewy Lincoln sold at the Gooding & Co auction here in Scottsdale was wearing.
More pics of the car.
