Pretty Fast.

  1. I was surprised it was this fast. They sure have improved it though.

I've also seen it parked somewhere and I saw its speedometer was 300km/h

These things are pretty rare, aren't they? How many do you guys suppose are left of the 85 M5s in the US?
  4. A bit faster than this actually says
    Pretty Fast.

The stats given by this site are a bit slower than the E28 M5's real stats.

Its 0-60 time is actually in the low 6's, I've heard as low as 6.0

Its 1/4 mile is 15 seconds as listed by BMW Motorsport, but actually a bit less, as they have been known to understate performance.

It's listed top speed (by BMW) is 153mph, but I've heard accounts of it actually being more in the 160-170 range.

The whole e28 range is a great lot of cars, I've got an e28 528 myself and it's a lot better drive than many new cars, amazing considering it's got over 200000 miles on the clock.

I think the best thing about the e28 M5 is it doesn't look like a car that can go 160mph, 0-60 in 6 seconds, it's really quite boxy, and the drag coefficient is, I think 0.39, if not higher. It's really the epitome of a "Q-car."

it's not exactly a pretty car though...
