Put Downforce on the....Fragile rear window??!

  1. I don't get it, unless the wing is directly bolted to the chassie (wich i doubt) why would you put it on the glass? Wouldn't you place it on a supportive chassie cross member of some sort or even the metal body?

    heey you guys

my mum has a Audi A2, it also has a (small but though) spoiler in her back window, it is fitted like hell (quite well okay :S). So maybe there is more downforce pressed on this spoiler, but they'll place it like that, there is as less as possible downforce on the window, so

    thank you ! :p

the glass is laminated and both panes are double thickness of normal plus how stupid do you think mitsubishi are they spend millions designing a car and getting rid of faults but the stupidly put a wing on the rear window.........yeah right its probably bolted on the inside too.
