1. Well, now we have TWO Range Rovers. The first one we got a number of months ago, for $825. It's an '88 short wheelbase. My wife loved it so much that I got her a '95 long wheelbase as a Christmas present. the '95 is a much nicer truck, with all the luxury features. Of course, it cost a bit more than $825...But a lot less than a new Kia might cost.

  2. Here's the '88

  3. And here's the '95

  4. And the interior of the '95. The LWB version has a ton of rear seat legroom...

  5. Install a powerstroke diesel

  6. Why? They run perfect.

  7. Excellent petrol efficiency from a powerstroke.

  8. *diesel efficiency.

It would be a neat project.

  9. Daaaamn

  10. Well, it's not supposed to be a project, but a daily driver. I don't want to be tearing into anythig I use every day. I have cars like my Comet for projects.

  11. Put a powerstroke in the coment. that would be awesome.

  12. lol! I have a Lexus 4 liter DOHC V8 and Supra 5 speed going in the Comet...

  13. THat is seriously cool.

  14. Rangie in the snow...

  15. Well, it looks like we may be replacing the '95 Rangie with this 2002 model. 64k miles with warranty. Very nice condition, about $10k.

  16. Also looked at these, but nether had the options we want, or a warranty, and both were slighty more expensive, though the green one is very pretty...

  17. broght the new Range Rover home this weekend. Nice car. Here, we're transferring my wife's stuff from th eold one to the new one. It's really here car, a birthday present for her.

  18. So the old one is now for sale...

  19. more pics

  20. nice present, I like those

  21. neighbor's Disco for sale. $2k

  22. Lesson here, don't rear end a Range Rover with your girlfriend's 2 day old Scion xB (before she's even had a chance to drive it 'cause her dad got it for her while she was away). While the speed was low ebnough that the airbags didn't go off, dude is in a world of hurt with his gf for hitting my truck.

And my truck? A couple very minor scuffs on the bumper and the tip of the exhaust pipe is bent over slightly. The cop thought I was just someone who stopped to help out...
