Re: American patriotism

  1. Out with the numbers already. Let's see them. Otherwise, you can retract that statement and shove it where you got it from: your ass.

  2. 550 y dont u quit spaniling it to the damn posters of the ferrari on ur wall cuz u dont hav 1 and havent driven probably n/e car u hav ever mentioned in here so u wouldnt know how good or shitty they r

  3. Ignoring the multi crap and keeping into consideration that you're an idiot, I'm addressing the retard who claims that I've never driven a Ferrari. You're right, I've never driven a Ferrari, but what's that got to do with anything dumbass?

I've driven three Vipers and that's it and I realized that the RT/10 oversteered a lot, even more than the GTS which was also oversteering quite a bit. Cars like the Prelude, based on my experience, have much more grip but most of you are too blind to understand that you can't just swallow figures and believe that it's the best simply because it says so. Those are professional drivers out there and most of us (including me) aren't. With our calibre, we won't appreciate the Viper as much as you think so until you drive and test one for yourself, you can shut up.

Oh yeah, and Guibo, you can shut up too because you don't acknowledge your mistakes right away until someone shoves them down your throat. Then you tend to go quiet for a while and hope everyone forgets about it. And you also can't seem to drop the "understeering" issue. It was a mistake and I mistyped, still intending to write oversteer. Why can't you #$%#ing get that? Actually, I can answer that question myself, because of another Yankee unique personality trait, the ability to keep nagging and make an ass of yourself.

Oh and finally, I don't need to meet 50% of Americans,I have a pretty good idea of how most of them are. Judging by what I see here, most of them I would say are complete and inconsiderate jerks.

An example also comes from the Detroit Pistons/Toronto Raptors series. I was so embarrassed when Detroit fans started booing the Canadian National Anthem just before tipoff in Detroit. I just shut the TV off. I don't know what embarrassed me more, the fact that I'm an American and now I'm gonna be regarded of as an ass by Canadians or the fact that my hometown of Detroit did this. And then you know how the fans of Toronto responded when the series shifted to Toronto? They cheered the US national anthem.

Again Guibo, you can say what you want about other nations having their assholes but fact is fact, US just tends to have more of them and they show no respect towards other nations. It shows here and outside everywhere else.

    Yankee patriotism is blind.

  4. Hmm...maybe. It thought GEO's were built in that joint GM-Toyota NUMMI plant in Fremont. Guess not.

You’ve driven 3 Vipers, eh? Where? Who owned these Vipers?

“Much more grip”? How much more grip, exactly? 10%? 20%? 50%? Put up some numbers or articles indicating this is so.
Please. For the sake of public safety, I hope you stick to Preludes. Wear a helmet while you’re at it.

LOL, only Yankees nag? You’re a seriously short-sighted, prejudicial dolt now, aren’t you?
If you meant the car oversteered, then state it. Say what you mean, and there will be no confusion. Simple, really. It really is amusing that I’ve shown plenty of evidence where people with reasonable hand-foot coordination indicate the Viper has a propensity toward mild understeer.
I will agree to this: with an idiot at the wheel, the Viper will oversteer. But you can say the same about something like, say, an S2000. BFD.

Good god, man. If it bothers you so much, why don’t you just put a bullet through your head and end the suffering? I really couldn’t care less about happens at a bloody sporting event having nothing to do with the cars we’ve mentioned in these forums.

“Oh and finally, I don't need to meet 50% of Americans,I have a pretty good idea of how most of them are. Judging by what I see here, most of them I would say are complete and inconsiderate jerks.”
LOL, the same can be said about non-Americans in these forums. And do you seriously think the “typical” American ever finds his way into this place? Most Americans probably have not even heard of a Koenig Diablo (or an 800TT for that matter).

I don't know what embarrasses me more, a guy from Detroit who has no appreciation for the vehicles that come from his own town (and is mesmerized by the Viper-killing gripping power of the Prelude) or a person who slags the majority of Americans based on a few who choose to attend a sporting event or post on some obscure internet website. Oh wait. Did I say "embarrass"? Bwahahahahahah!!!!
If you have a problem with being an American, deal with it. You're free to leave this country, you know.

  5. Every country has its' flaws, this country has its' flaws of course, and some that can easily be avoided if the level of cockiness and arrogance subsided.

  6. Well, that's great. And deeply moving. I'm moved. Really. *snicker*

Now, please address my three issues up there.

  7. This is ridiculous, Who says just because you are american you HAVE to like american cars? I like very few american cars and I'm american through and through and proud of it! Cars are subject to taste not country.

  8. Exactly!

And just because you're an American in Detroit, that doesn't automatically mean you can conclude that the "typical" American is arrogant and cocky to a greater extent than people from any other country.

  9. LOL, 550 went to the mods in the same forum area asking about proof of his clones. One of the mods told him he is in Vancouver, BC.<!-- Signature -->

  10. "LOL, 550 went to the mods in the same forum area asking about proof of his clones. One of the mods told him he is in Vancouver, BC."

This is exactly how I know something's wrong now. I'm being #$%#ed with.

"This is ridiculous, Who says just because you are american you HAVE to like american cars? I like very few american cars and I'm american through and through and proud of it! Cars are subject to taste not country."

That's what I'm arguing. That's the way it should be but it's not. Hey Guibo, if you don't live in Detroit, you can't speak without experience. Because of General Motors here, everyone tends to favor American cars. Screw them and their Fisher Tower...

  12. Yes, I can be funny sometimes. But it depends on which side of the discussion you're on. See, guys like 550WOLVES and jcazz/gsolinas probably don't think I'm too funny right now. But that's their problem; they wanted to make this personal. I'm more than willing to oblige.

No offense LiquidChild, but assuming you're a guy, you're not gay are you? Because by the looks of it, you're venturing awfully far down that path regarding your praise to Guibo.

  15. Even if he were gay, what does that matter? Are you a homophobe in addition to being anti-American?
*Note: I'm not saying you're a homophobe, just asking a question. Nor am I saying he's gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that! (say it like you're Seinfeld)

  18. You being gay has nothing to do with me and I'm glad.

No I'm not a homophobe but I'm also not exactly their biggest supporter.

  19. this is a nice car....doesnt really look like it can go 0-60 in 2.7 sec. but sure looks nice<!-- Signature -->

  20. You like the car? That's fine, I don't mind it either. However it has problems and Yanks have to recognize that it's not the King nor is it close to being the King of supercars.

  22. Twat? Is that some common English insult?

To address Ninja, there is no defined king of supercars and that's the problem with most people, they keep coming and screaming THIS CAR WILL RAPE THIS and THIS CAR WILL RAPE THAT!!! It's not that others don't do the same but it's the extensive amount of times that Americans do this that bothers me.

BTW, I addressed this issue already, the Skyline is better in many aspects than the Viper so there's one example.

  23. Skyline is better than the Viper in many aspects? I would love to hear your explanation of this. If you are talking about faster? Nope, the stock Viper will tear apart the stock Skyline. Modified? Nope, the Viper has a lot more upgrade potential than the Skyline due to its massive engine.

So what exactly makes it better, besides you liking the car more?<!-- Signature -->

  25. I don't think a person living in Detroit (funny how he says he lives in the most popular car city in the U.S.), would consistentally diss Americans. Doesn't make much sense.

Question: Do you seriously think anyone, anyone at all, is going to believe you, the person who says the Viper understeers horribly, and ignore all the common sense and proof that the moderators of this site provided. I didn't think so.

BTW, you didn't answer my question how the Skyline can handle more upgrades than the Viper. You just described it. Just because its harder to upgrade the Viper, if it even is, doesn't mean its not possible. The fact you say the Skyline has no upgrading limit is a complete joke. Every car has a limit, every one. And with an engine 3 times smaller than the Viper's, it will reach its limit long before the Viper does. Its all about displacement. The bigger engine can always handle more power.

Try again. I will be expecting another half-assed explanation about nothing, and you denying that you aren't the same person again. Knock yourself out.<!-- Signature -->
