    NSX is rated one of the BEST handling super/sportscars

    Lateral G's, that means turning in circles, but you DON'T turn circles on a track. The most important thing being used on the track is how it performs over-all, although american might be faster on the straights, but NSXs usually passes whenever there's any corner.

    ZO6 is CHEAP, because it's put together by a bunch of minless machines.
    The NSX is Hand Built, true two seater only supercar.
    It uses ALL Aluminum body, Not steel or whatever the ZO6 is made of.

    Because the NSX have an adventage of lighter weight, so it's easier to handle, and it's also because it's a midship, and weight distributed very well all around the car and still have a low center of gravity. It's all in the calculation when they make the NSX.

    Try if you want, you drive an ZO6 and I drive the NSX, let see who come out on top. I really don't know, because there ain't a comparation between the top model on the NSX against the top model of corvette.

    NSX is great on tyres, they don't eat up their tyres.
    That might be because it's lighter than almost any american's.

  7. The NSX is not in the same performance league as the Z06 period.

    The regular C5 and the NSX is a good comparison, the weights are nearly the same despite Chii's claims (3165 lbs compared to 3218). The Vette is the clear winner in the straights and that is not disputed by anyone. The misconception comes when uninformed people say the NSX can beat the Corvette in the corners, that is just not true, they both achieved the same cornering speeds at Buttonwillow Raceway. That is the regular Corvette, the Z06 is just in a different league, it will completely anhiliate the NSX (any trim level) in the straights and on a road course and that is a fact.


    BTW we do go in circles when we are driving, they are called curves.


    One more thing, there are two types of VTEC fuel economy and performance, which one is it? It has under 300 HP and still doesn't match the milage of the 405 HP Corvette... What good did VTEC do it, really? Was the NSX the winner of an Auto engineering Journal's "Best Engineered Car of the Century".... nope that was the Corvette.<!-- Signature -->

    The Z06 recently beat the 911 Turbo on a roadcourse... The NSX is just not in that same performance envelope.

    The Base NSX and the Base corvette have indeed been put up against one another, and the Vette indeed won on the road course AND on the drag strip.</b></blockquote><center><hr width="90%"></center><!-- END QUOTE --> post some times, etc my good man!

    also, i really think they should use the same driver etc for such runs. i will believe the drag runs, but the track im not so sure. i have a video of a base NSX running a 13.14 (or 13.17, cant remember) which isnt too shabby. i think it just all depends on the driver.<!-- Signature -->

My mistake the NSX was .6 seconds faster at Buttonwillow (70.5 seconds compared to 71.1) sorry about the misinformation... i will still maintain that the Z06 would be very tough to beat by an NSX, it would have to be signifigantly more powerful and better handling than the NSX we have in the US.<!-- Signature -->

    This could very well be the best threat to your manhood ever. The only car that is in this cars class is a '92 Ford Tempo. I would rather drive that Tempo than this thing.     I personally quite like this car. They gave it a nice facelift. Performance is adequate but can be better, but you better have some ear plugs when driving this thing cuz ya will go deaf.
    Oh..and remember to bring and obusforme cushion for your ass too if ya drive on da streets =P
