  1. There are better options, but those are way more rare and if need replacement parts....bring out the cash.

    Also, all those you mentioned are quite recent cars. This car is 10+ years old in design and engineering. They will be coming out with a new NSX in like 2 years. Just gotta wait.

    As you were talking bout weight, you have to notice this car is considerably lighter than the American counterparts, and this car will rule on very twisty..and I mean extreme twisted tracks.
    But overall..yeah...the C5Rs and Z06s dominate.

    NSX always be a sayvia from most Hondas
    but i wish they could get some V8's goin in

    id buy a chev instead

    Driving an american car.... must be boooring... it handles like cold p*s... but hey then they put in some big V8 V10 or V12 engines.... but this doesn't help (apparently they don't know how to exploit this.) The only "sweet" american race car.. in my mind is the Viper

    Now take the Subaru 4WD Turbo or whatever it's called, now there you got some bhp from a small engine.

  5. I own an NSX and I can say that in 7 years that I got it, it never broke down and I drive it everyday to work. I've read the history of NSX that said that this car has one of the stiffest chassis ever made. In the first place the engineers who was involved in designing this car wanted to use V8 engine but they said that the V6 should be enough for it to compete with some of the supercars. This car was recorded to out accelerate the Ferrari 355 by 0.1 sec for the 0-60mph and also has beaten Ferrari 348 but I don't know the number. Another plus for is that it is not expensive to maintain this car and the engine is made to last. I have yet to see what this new facial uplift looks like up close.

    I am also a great fan of great American cars like the Ferrari beater GT40 but just could not afford to have it since nobody in my place can maintain it.<!-- Signature -->

    I drove this car for a nice 4 hour Toronto to Ottawa drive..hehe.

  7. THE NSX SUCKS!!! THE VETTE OUTPERFORMS IT AND COSTS ABOUT $50000 YOU COULD BUY ANOTHER CAR WITH THE MONEY SAVED. IF THEYRE GONNA CHARGE 90,000 FOR A CAR IT AHD BETER BE ABLE TO AT LEAST BEAT A MUSTANG. OH YEAH BY THE WAY DONT BE GAY YOU SAID THIS WAS THE FASTEST HOW ABOUT 226 MPH 0-60 IN 3.4 SKIPPING 2 GEAR AND A 1/4 MILE TIME OF 11.7 THATS NOT EVEN THE BEST VETTE OUT WHICH DOES 0-60 IN 2.3 WITH AN AUTO AND THE 1/4 IN 9.54. CORVETTES RULE NSX'S SUCK!!!

    No one said the Vette sucks and we all agree the Vette is kickass!! But you also have to remember that stats and numbers are all pretty much irrevelent!!
    It depends on the driver and the road conditions..etc.

    The cars I drive are standard street cars with safety cages or rally cars.
    Only mods we have a small studded tires =P

    Please explain yourself. Do you have a Motor Trend Car mag handy? If you do compare the last model NSX to the last model ZO6. Compare them and tell me wich one comes out on top! Then tell me wich one costs the least!

    If your going to make that statement, back it up with reasons.

    I personally think the NSX is kind of a let down. Everything about it is Bland. No pizzaz at any time, just a generic "Sportcar" shape, bland acceleration, 4 out of 10 uniqueness rating. If this car was to be kept stock forever (wich no one who buys this car will do) It would suck ass. This car needs to be re-tuned as soon as you buy the thing.

    The ZO6 statistically ahnialtes this thing (in stock form) in nearly all perfomance aspects (including Lateral G's! Go check if you don't believe me). And the cars half the price!! Yes the quality maybe less. But even if you spent an extra $25,000 on the ZO6 for higher quality peices, youd still have a better performing machine for less money.

    Sorry NSX fans but this time the old Pushrod technology beats down the Vtec (check the stats yourself). <!-- Signature -->

NSX up against the base vette, and i think the NSX would win. i would put the Z06 up against the NSX type 0 (is that name right? i cant remember) and it would be a good race. the driver would be the deciding factor. chii knows more about the upper aeschylons of the NSX's trim levels, because she is from japan. <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif">

    The Z06 recently beat the 911 Turbo on a roadcourse... The NSX is just not in that same performance envelope.

    The Z06 is a pretty new vehicle and the 355 is a few years old but i do believe the 360 Modena is faster in all aspects than the 355. The Z06 and the 360 have indeed gone head to head and the Z06 has proven to be faster in about 80 percent of the races that i have seen.<!-- Signature -->

    This is why I say Honda holds back for the average Honda buyer! Yes on the Track the highly modified NSX is amazing. But as a Stock fresh off the line car, I'm certian the ZO6 would crush the NSX. Thats because Chevy truly wants to give there buyers as much as they can for the money. Honda holds back so they can keep the price down.

    On the street 2 stock machines, Check any Road & Track, check Motor Trend. Look at all the specs. A ZO6 at least on paper schools the NSX in nearly every aspect. (Notice I said at least on paper, stats arent everything).

    The very first ZO6 out classed the M3 in EVERY SINGLE PERFORMANCE ASPECT. That was when the old ZO6 was only doing only 4.6sec O-60. Now ZO6 does 3.9sec O-60 and everyother performance aspect has been increased that much more.

    I don't belive the NSX is the best Honda can do at all! "Don't give them our best, itll cost to much. Give a taste and make them pay for the rest, even though we could do much better".

    I want Honda to stop Holding back and give me everything they can possibly do!! Until then I'll never like the Honda company. <!-- Signature -->
