I think that gives a pretty good example of how chevy operates 10 years behind everyone else. So why don't they subtract all of the recalls that both ford anc chevy have done for cars that fall within the last 10 model years. I think that that would give a more representative showing of the recalls that have actually posted for all of the models that should have recalls for the time period being looked at anyway.

A ford Focus, ugly as all hell. Also an engine could be screwed up based upon how you drive it. Hard, or normal. Hard, of course your gonna have problems. Yes the new Fords are huge but lets talk about the ranger, two of my friends have rolled thiers, in normal weather. The only Ford in my entire family immediate, uncle and aunts, cousins, and grandparents,and my grandparents brothers and sisters, is the Ford Taurus, for my grandparents, only one side. Thats it, every truck is Chevy or Gmc, all the cars are Chevy, Dodge, or Eagle. The Chevy HD has more Horses than this beast, come on now.

My F-150 has 250,000 miles on it and it doesn't burn a drop of oil. Sure it has had a few problems, but I caused all of those. Most motor mounts won't hold up to spinning all 4 tires through all five gears on dry pavement. I know mine didn't. Of course a lot of engines won't run if the timing chain is slipped 15 degrees either. Another time I cracked the rear pumpkin on a rock when I was offroading, and even without any gear oil in the rearend it held up for another 30,000 miles before I had to get it fixed. How is that for reliable. How many GMs could hold up to that kind of punishment.
Re: Ford sucks at least ford recalls there problems, i know someone who has a 2001 chevy malibu, it has some kind of brake defect on it, man that braking sux ass, he has brought it to the shop 2 times already, on a red light he has to stop a long ways before it to actually come to a full stop, so shut the #$%# upo when u say fords have problems cuz a lot of chevys have problems 2. and at least ford tries to fix their problems
