only 2 cars could ever be bought off the showroom floor and immediately run 10's in the 1/4 mile; the 64 hemi dart and the McLaren F1

Thats wrong. During the late 60s early 70s, both Dodge and Plymouth made factory racecars with 426 hemis, propper gearing, bateries in the trunk, and warnings posted under the hood that stated "This car is equiped with a 426 HEMI which was built strickly for accelaration trails only. There is no warranty on this car." I think those cars rolled off the line at 10.25s. But i do love the body style of the 64 dart. They make nice race cars

  2. yes both the cars were built by mr norm in the motor city
but to get back on track the cuda would win in a stright line because it is lighter and in a cuda whould win on the circut because it had the smaller wheel base and i tighter steering due to the wheel base
but the super bird i do belive is an over all nice car add some sways and do a bit of lightning and you would have a comparable race in eiather event

  3. cuda would prolly win. isn't it smaller? but the road runner looks better IMHO. My fav muscle car of all time, actually is the similar GTX

  4. totally ... my dad had a hemi dart ... till my mom wrecked it <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

  5. the hemi cuda and the hemi roadrunner are two different things. the cuda was faster than the roadrunner 12.72 sec on quarter mile at 110mph for the hemi cuda against 13.20sec at 107mph for a hemi road runner

  7. I was just wondering if anyone could tell me what the difference is between the roadrunner and the charger?
