I saw a pic of it in one of our School's Sports Illustrated Magazine Archives and oh yeah, It was ready to hit the ground with a 90' degree nose dive as in vertically nose down... I tell ya... it may have a very low ride height, but it can sure fly like Michael Jordan!
the car looks so different when you compare it to a street car it looks like a squashed version of a MB

It's so low... probably 39-40 inch height... oh yeah... I remember 42 inches
I saw this crash happen live (on tv) at LeMans, and it was one of the most spectacular ones I've ever seen; it did at least two full flips (end over end) before landing over 50ft away from the track. All this because it caught a bit of drag from the Toyota GT1 it was drafting. On the same day I saw another sweet crash, where a GT car (different race) got nudged sideways and ended up doing 12 full barrel rolls before sliding to a stop about 100ft from where it started! Pretty exciting day in racing.

It flipped coz it caught a lot of air from the Toyota GT1... bad engineering I tell ya... they just wasted a couple o million dollars for that!

Straight on the Le Mans Track, it caught some air underneath the nose, which just lifted it clean into the air, because of the speed it was carrying, it just flew off of the track. the same thing happenes in the practice earlier in the day, before the race, but it just did a half flip, and skidded on its roof onto the escape road about 100m straight ahead. just needed to clear that up. (p.s. pls reply if any of this is incorrect.)
Too bad it had to be withdrawn from Le Mans because of the aerodynamic flaws. It was a great car! I wish I had the surviving one.

the mercedes flipped because it was poorly designed, the 911 flipped because the track was poorly designed (it was at the place where it had a dip so that a lot of prototype cars flip, and the diffuser of the car in front of it was shooting air right into the GT1's nose.
pretty cool car, u dont see so many aerodynamic problems in lemans, at least not repetetive stuff like that.
