Re: I want a to see a cop chase one of these

1. iff the police driver is not a crap one.

2. no cop will catch this, even a helicopter can't even catch it. A helicopter can only go 160mph the diablo is only in about 4th gear at this time

Actually those cop cars arnt all stock. Beleive me i have been chased by some and they did something to those cars cause they were pretty damn fast. But there is no way that they can catch the diablo once it gets to it's top speed.

4. That would be a trip to be chased by cop cars and even helicopters and they cant touch you. But better yet trying running from them in a mclaren F1 now thats the ultimate ride.

5. It would be funny to see because it would go over 200mph while the cop car could barely go 140mph

6. It would need to get into some pretty straight areas to go 200. Plus if the cops really wanted to catch it they'd just radio ahead and lay out spike strips. Or just get an Apache and have it drive right over the car until it runs outa gas, I hear they get horrible mileage.

7. it would be hard on a car today to go that fast on an american highway. the highway is layed out in squares sections of concrete, and doin 210 miles an hour you would be passing over them extremely fast and it would damage your wheels, tires, and the suspension of the car. think about it. but hell yeah that would be fun

8. u dont want to see a cop chase one of these... cuz it's too simple... one radio call, and 5 blocks away, spike strips r out, and POP go the tires, and BUH BYE goes the driver to prison... so if u want to even SEE a cop chase this thing, get the goverment to close off a section of like hwy 66, and rent a cop car, and there u go, film it if u want

9. hehe...even if it ends up in pursuit...it aint gonna be interestin...WHY?...cuz of traffic...always an accident that ends up happenin...ex:...the corvette and Mustang could of escaped...why didn't they
cuz of traffic...if it wasn't for the high amount of cars on the street...the hell with it...i would go to a Lambo dealer shop and i would stick up the mother f*cker and drive away in the Lambo..but why ppl dont do that with Lambo's...cuz of the amount of drivers...even if u hit the highway...whats gonna happend...spike strip?...radio communication with truck drivers to tell them to get in the way..yea probably come kinda bullshit like that...anyway...i prooved my point...nobody can escape the cops...why?..not because of the cops beein fast or anythin...cuz of all the public transport on the streets these days

10. i wish someone actully did run from the cops in a diablo

Wait a minute legend...It has already been said, but a helicopter can indeed exceed 160mph. Wait a minute. Check this link. A helicopter that can get anywhere in a relatively spread out city (950 000 people, and 5th largest in canada) in 3 minutes. No car can do that. http://www.gov.calgary.ab.ca/police/inside/technologyf.html. You see helicopters don't have to follow a set path (eg. A road) So they can cut corners to save time. Oh and not to mention All the tack strips, road blocks etc. the police can use. nothing on the road moves faster than a radio. Know your 'shit before you post legend.

Fyi: the fastest helicopter flies at 249 + mph.

12. You Americans must have one hell of a good police force. I mean cop-choppers that go at speeds of 249 miles per hour damn, and response vehicles that are teleportation fast and know the exact route you are going to take so they can set up cute little traps. Bullshit man! Everyone knows that by the time cops call for backup in this car you will have lost them and they will have no Idea where you are heading at the time and by the time a chopper/backup(with their cute little traps)is on to you you will be safely parked in the comfort of your garage.

Ok, firstly, had you read the previous post by vwdrivervw you would have read the word Canada, this is not another one of your god forsaken states, this is a country north of you. Wait, wait did I lose you, can you find north good job. I wouldn't want you to insult us by calling us americans. Now that we have that straight lets move on, who cares what the top speed of the car is your never going to get that fast in the city anyway, the helicopter will be watching you constantly and once you get on a road with only a few exits they will radio ahead and lay spike strips on the road and each exit. Thirdly, if you should happen to make it past every spike strip, road block and the helicopter has massive engine failure, should you make it home you won't be there long. How many 2000 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster Millenniums are there in you city? Not many, and unless you payed cash there will be records of sale with your name and address. I'd think it would be funny to see someone try to run from the police, but I think it would be funnier to see the expression on their face as their trying to eat their creamed corn while getting assraped in a prison cell that same night.

17. first of all getting spikes in the right spot at the right time would be difficult when your chasing a diablo and by the time a chopper is actually involved the diablo will be gone and dont think there a too many 249mph copters in most countries much less states. hell, if i could ever afford one of these id steal stuff all the time and get away with it!

I love Jennifer!!!!!!!!

18. in the US ok !!
but over here in Europe.
this is a joke man.
1st off cops never 'chase' cars. or at least its quite unusual.
they got radars, cameras..etc...
get a pic of the car, license plate, and its over.
but in some countries (Germany)
cars can go 155 without being worried about cops. Why ? cause cops don't care.
gotta Russia, if you got a lotta cash... the cop will be happy to let u go
4 AM, empty highway (usually is at this time)
i don't think the cop will even bother
and ever in the city, no cop can touch you
They had a video of some 911 Carrera in sweden trying to get chased on Purpose by the cops..
i forgot the link though.
it was really cool !

Because we all know how starting a high speed chase that endangers peoples lives never got anyone into any trouble... If the cops had reason to mount a continuous chase you have done somthing that involves more then a slap on the wrist in this case you will spend time in at least a holding cell. If you are joy riding in your lambo they will not continue a chase because it is more dangerous to do so. You will simply be assesed a fine and not be driving for a very, very long time.
