  1. DUMBASS ***** this car is BRITISH FUCKA<!-- Signature -->

  2. the car was designed at Boreham,England
    engine by Cosworth,England
    assembled by Reliant,England
    finished by Tickford,England

the whole car was a british effort which unfortunately was short lived. damn shame cos these car dont hang around.
it was actualy quite advanced for 1986 standards having selectable 2/4 wheel drive, selectable torque splits to each differential, both could be changed while on the move as well...no need to stop.

Your Right !!And The Ford Rs500 Sierra dominated World Touring Car in the Mid 80's for 5 yrs <!-- Signature -->

  6. the rear wing is hideous though (on the car in your pic)

    whale tail version:turbo 204BHP

    RS500: ~550BHP, won a lot, RULES SUCK.

RS200's: in 1986, it was successful in international rallies, Versions with 2.1-Litre/700BHP BDT-E engines became dominant, then the rules struck again.<!-- Signature -->

  7. company leased Reliant building at Shenstone to assemble. Cosworth type BDT engines and transmission developed by FF developments, but incorporating Hewland gears.<!-- Signature -->

They were also based in England, at Newport Pagnell where the Aston Martin factories are now. AM bought Tickford in the 60/70s (ish) but they were sold again.

Tickford also did the engienering work on the Motorsport Puma.

I don't know whether Tickford originated in Australia or moved there after Aston martin sold them.<!-- Signature -->

  12. excuse me,
Ever notice all British Fords are extremely ugly?

  13. rules "struck" because this car caused the deaths of 3 people

  14. ugly? what?? even if it WAS true it still doesn't compensate for the fact that european Fords are better than the big bulky american one's.

  15. oh, exept ofcourse the ford GT40!! GO GT40 and a few other american fords...

  16. Well I don't know of any American cars that could keep up with Pat Doran's RS200. British fords are the best fords and when they go to sweden for a bit of tinkering they come back even better. Got any suggestions of an American car that could beat Dorans??

  17. The GT40 is british. Only the engine is american.

  18. The Ford GT40 is british built and designed. Only the engine is american.

  19. I like british fords, we dont go for big v8's and stuff usually. Just mental four pots with turbo's, like mine, the escort cossie. Ca'nt beat it.

  20. ever notice majority of american cars on a whole of that era were ugly?!
