  1. M5 vs M3

Which do you think is better and M5 or an M3???<!-- Signature -->

  2. Both as good as each other.<!-- Signature -->

  3. i d take the m3 anyways who cares if this has "v-8 power" i dont give a rats ass about v-8 power m3 is more a sports car sportscars arent supposed to b2 4,000lbs or have 4 doors

  4. carkid, seems the right name thats for sure.

The M5 isnt a sportscar, its a sports saloon. Also from most figures I've seen the M5 is slightly quicker.

About the V8 engine. Well the M3 sounds fine, but compared to the NASCAR growl of the M5 its nothing.

  5. so if its faster than the m3 what does that make the m3 buddy so whats your point your not makin fun of me ifs thats what your trying to do i said it wasnt a sportscar and u say the EXACT same thing u just call it a "sports saloon" wipdee do

  6. I believe I posted a topic just like this one! <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif">
I'd go for the M5, the M3 is bad-ass but the M5 is unique. How many Family cars can beat a mustang or most cars on the street for that matter? Bad-Ass!<!-- Signature -->

  7. Just buy 'em both and it will still be worth your money<!-- Signature -->

  8. The M3 is clearly faster. I saw someone say that it had 355hp, that guy has no clue what he's talking about. Its 333hp in North America and 343hp in Europe.

  9. If I wanted a true sports car I would go with the M3... If I were willing to give up a bit of a sporty look for luxury and a little more speed I would go with the M5...<!-- Signature -->

The fastest i've seen for the M3 is 4.9 secs to 60 and the M5 is 4.6.<!-- Signature -->

  11. I think Roadkil68 is talking about the M3 CSL
The M3 CSL has +/-355bhp and 19inch wheels and special Michelin Pilot Sport tyres also huge brake discs.
In Dubai there's always room for more

  12. 1. M3 CSL
    2. M5
    3. E46 M3
    4. heavily modded E36 M3 (dakar yellow)

    i love BMW

  13. i'd go for the M5.i mean the M3 is gr8 but for a ride with your friends, you need a saloon car to feel comfortable.
and this is the best saloon car ever+power.
    just what i need.

  14. Acceleration isn't everything. Not to mention the fastest I've ever seen for the M5 is 4.8 and for the M3 4.625. On the track the M3 is just that much lighter.

  15. u dumbass are comparing a sport sedan to a sports car

  16. you idiots are comparing sedan to coupe\conv.

  17. Yeah so what. They're both M cars, of course comparisons will be made.

    Fastest M5 times I've seen. 0-60 in 4.6sec. 0-100 in 10.6sec (Autocar 1999)

these guys have compared em, and they have members that have posted saying that theyve been wupped by m5s in there m3s

  20. yup
    and hey,the M5 can go to 60 in 4.6.
i'm sure because my cousin tried it.

  21. hard to pick, i'd chose a M5 cause it's got 4 doors and it's more usefull in daily use. i'd pick a M3 cause it's sporty and it can be a great weekend car. heck i'd say it's almost equal both ways
