Not much torque...
for a 650 hp car 330 ft/lbs isn't a hell of a lot...
well duh its a 4 liter engine that revs to 11000. its to small to have alot of torque with out a trubo or supercharger
yeah, uh hmm.<!-- Signature -->
Its a ferrari, they don't make torque. Wich is why they'll never touch a Lamborghini.
It's a Ferrari, if they wanted torque, they'd make it. But they don't need it, because a Lamborghini would break down anyway. But oh wait, when's the last time you saw a Lamborghini win the 24 hours of LeMans? ... Waiting ... Still waiting ... Yeah, exactly. Don't make unsubstantiated claims about something you know nothing about.
Do you actually know the relationship between torque and horses?<!-- Signature -->
I think Ferreri know what they are doing. Lamborghini has a great racing heritage, o, wait, they suck at racing!
This amount of torque this car has is in direct relation to the practicality this car is meant to have on the road - just enough. This car is only a byproduct of the 333 racecars.
And you criticised the torque without any mention of the horsepower. Please name one of your precious Lambos with a Normally Aspirated powerplant that puts out 160 - 170 hp/litre. That sort of output is simply awesome.<!-- Signature -->
Ferrai knows exactly wut they are doin, look at the past, do you think they are stupid about racing. If they needed more, they would have more.<!-- Signature -->
Who the hell cares if it has enough torque or not??? Mind only if you're the owner...
i agrre with lngnfltr. ferrari is named after its horsepower, not its torque. thats why its embelem is a horse <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif"><!-- Signature -->
I know a man who owns an sp and trust me there is more then enough torque to make this car go

well it's enough to make this car faster than anything you'll ever drive.
two cars, one torquey and high geared, one revvy and low geared. such that maximum torque uses 100% of available traction.
both cars have the same traction....
which one would accelerate hardest?
And yet the Murcielago is as fast as the Enzo which is the second most powerful car in the world. And the Lambo has AWD.
Lets wait until Lamborghini makes the second most powerful car in the world.
So Murcielago is as fast as the Enzo? Where? On Lambo-planet? A Porsche GT3 does faster laps than Murcielago.
"And the Lambo has AWD" Oh! I'm sure that down at Maranello are really scared now...
