    <b>Wow, you must have looked pretty hard to find times of Ferrari's turning better than the Viper. Every single mag I've seen the Viper does better. Every single one. Oh, and I never said the Viper broke better than the 360 Modena or 550 Maranello. Just the F50. And thats not even with ABS. The 2001 and up Vipers have ABS.

    Also, heres food for thought...The Viper tested at Nurburgring was the UK-Spec, 400 horsepower Viper with no ABS. That means the 360 Modena has a higher power weight ratio, and can obviously brake faster. To lose only by 1 second means the Viper must have been turning faster than the 360 Modena.

    I don't have a scanner, so I can't show you proof, but when Guibo comes here, be ready to be proven wrong. That is if hes up to the challenge.

    No, I'm looking at two different sources right now, this second. One is Road And Track magazine, ever heard of it? I had to look really hard for this one because its a magazine that like no one has ever heard of, they only sell like 50 000 000 magazines in a year. And another one I checked was called Car And Driver. Its pretty small too, they only sell like 50 000 000 magazines a year as well. Yeah, strangly both these magazines say that the F-50 brakes better than the Viper. But at least the Viper doesn't brake as badly as a PT Cruiser, no no, wait a second, it does. The Viper at the N'ring has 411hp, so you might be right there. Please stop pulling numbers from your ass.

  2. Oh, here is another magazine that says that Ferraris brake better than the Viper, its Called "MOTOR TREND". I doubt you will have heard of this one either.

  3. Dude, you're talking about the NON-ABS Viper. The Viper has had ABS since the beginning of '01. And ABS-equipped ACR lapped Thunderhill in the 2:04's (see Sports Car International comparo with the GT2, which lapped in 1:59's). The 360 Modena is a high 2:07 at this track.

    And LOL, R&T routinely gets the worst braking distances for the Viper. Why don't you look at some other magazines, like C&D (below). And that's from a NON-ABS Viper as well, LOL.

    Put a '01 Viper with the full 460 horses on Nurburgring and watch that Modena get smacked. It's funny that even with ABS, mid-engine design, lighter weight, basically the same power, and fine-tuning at the famed Fiorano circuit, it can only do ONE SECOND better than a castrated, heavier Viper. LMFAO!!!!

    And in most real-world scenarios (drag race or a rolling highway encounter), the Viper will flat out walk away from the Modena.

  4. LMAO!!!

    Thanks, Guibo.<!-- Signature -->

    F50 GT:
    I agree, you simply don't know what you're talking about. Angus up there says the Viper's brakes are lousy. That's kinda true, for the NON-ABS Viper (which you can't even buy brand new anymore, since ABS is STANDARD:
    http://www.dodge.com/pdfs/viper.pdf).

    R&T just doesn't know how to stop with the Viper. 155 feet? That just means they lack skill in stopping non-ABS cars.

    But what's this? Popular Mechanics takes the Viper down from 60 in only 124 feet? MT did it in '97 in 129 feet. In '98, it took only 122 feet. In '99, it took 126 feet. In '00, it took 121 feet (only 4 feet shy of the 360 Modena). And MT tested the GT2 edition Viper to only 118 feet. Yet Angus wants to stick by the 155 feet set by R&T? WTF?

    [Check out the braking spec for the Qvale Mangusta. In R&T, it stops from 60 in 163 feet, 8 feet shorter than the Viper. Yet MT is able to get it to stop from that very same speed in only 125 feet.]

    And then I show where the Viper outbrakes the F50 by C&D numbers, and you STILL think he knows what he's talking about? LOL.

  14. You know at the back of Road And Track, and I think maybe Car and Driver has it too, they list all the cars they have tested, it takes up about 2 pages, in this months issue of Road and Track, go to page 140. And the N'ring times I got at the Nurburgring site.

  19. I think the only way to know for sure witch car is better is to steal the cars and test them our selfs on the street, the track, and off road. Just kidding on that last part.

    P.S. My opinion is that the Viper is better thant ferraris. And there is only 3 f*cking F50gt's so how cares about those cars.<!-- Signature -->

    I finished yr12 last year and ain't goin' back to no skool...
    sorry.<!-- Signature -->

  23. the problem of the f50gt is that they were too expensive and that they don't offer the same level of performance than a venom for a lower price.

  24. Exactly, that's why when someone says they'd take the F50 over this I get confused.<!-- Signature -->

  25. I'd take the F-50 any day over any American car ever.
