    If you want to talk price I could find an XJ220 for less than a Venom 800TT. And you gotta think. With slicks the Jags times would be better than what you are looking at now.<!-- Signature -->

    This car though, does have serious problems and ain't that great.

    I love american cars and I love imports as long as there not from japan, but this viper can go in a straight line but can it corner like a lamborghini, porsche, ferrari ect.

    I wouldn't say it falls below expectations. To be honest I never expected a Viper to be this good. But it's not good for the stats it claims to be capable of. It's too unrealistic. This car was deemed the "best car ever" by some moron on these forums but it is beatable by plenty of cars. Best American car...that is possible, but in the world...not likely.<!-- Signature -->

    I'm with lamborghinisv.
    Fact is this thing is extremely heavy. I find it hard to believe that this thing set a slalom record. There had to have been some extreme set of circumstances for that to occur. I do like the car but Vipers are not exactly well known for being exceptional handlers.<!-- Signature -->

    I just said that this thing isn't all that special...it dosen't take much to make this kind of HP with such a large engine...
    This is what I mean ..you all act like this car took so much endless R&D to develop...for an engine(+2 Turbos) of this size it should be making like 1400 HP...

    For a Skyline/Supra to make this HP it takes much more... 2.6L/3.0L respectively..

    Gsolinas you said it is not fair to compare this 800tt to a porche or ferrari but what is fair. porche and ferrari already have torbos and all kind of maxxed out parts. then would is be fair to compare a viper or even a 2003 because the 2003 produces 500Hp and it is a normal pushrod engine. does everyone compare gts to ferraris? yes. so would it be fair to compare a gts or the 2003 to a ferrari? wellyes ve seen the new 2003 at the Daytona 500 in the dodge car showout side of the Track 0-60 3.8 seconds is that what a ferraris acceleration is with turbos not sayin that acceleration is everything.
