  1. DEFINATELY THE STRATOS!<!-- Signature -->

  2. I like the Lancia 037 Rally, the BMW M1, the Ferrari 308 Gr.4, the Alpine A110, the Porsche 911....

    ...but I have to confess, the Lancia Stratos is the best...

    ...for beuty and results !!!

    "Nice cars... those who win races" (Juan Manuel Fangio)

  3. Another good color picture of the Mercedes...

    SC.net !!!

    Why to post a black and white picture of a 1978 car???

  4. Depends on what your criteria is really. But if you're talking solely in terms of results then it's (just) the Fiat Abarth 131.

    The 131 won more events than any other RWD WR car (18. The next best for any other RWD WR car is 17).

    The 131 won 3 WRC Manufacturer's titles (the Stratos is the only other RWD WR car to win that many).

    The 131 also won 1 WRC Drivers title plus the FIA Cup for Drivers in '78 (the Escort RS is the only RWD WR Car to win 2 WRC Drivers titles. The Stratos won the '77 FIA Cup for Drivers and Markku Alen, who won the cup in '78, did actually drive a Stratos in one round of the WRC in '78).

    The Stratos and Escort RS were also very successful, as I've pointed out, and the Renault Alpine A110 was too, if you include it's acievments in the International Makes' Championship. <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif">

  7. As much as I love the Alpines, the Stratos has to be no. 1.
    And is just me, or does the 450 look out of place in the dirt?
