  1. ????

What in Satan's scrotum is this piece of crap? I actually feel sorry for the Camaro and F-Bird fans, now that this thing is replacing their beloved cars. Bob Lutz better kill off this thing quick.

This isn't replacing the Camaro or Firebird. It's actually rather popular, too.

    This isn't a Ford.

  4. i dont see what all the fuss is about i like it alot i think it looks great and i heard it goes hard. a gt version is rumored and it will be powered by a 450 hp LS6 V8.

  5. The car looks cool and it has a folding hardtop like the Mercedes SLK's<!-- Signature -->

  6. Looks more like a hotrod than a production car.<!-- Signature -->

  7. I like it.
It's nice to see a change from the everyday boring Sierras, Silverados and F150s.

  8. ugly as sin.
almost makes the aztec look good.

  9. I just can't understand why EVERYBODY is going retro. 1 oe 2 retro cars is cool. BUt in the next few years there is going to be like 5 or 6 retro cars going inot production. And god knows how many more they will come up with in the enxt few years. This is getting out of hand. I like it, but there are too many retro cars. This is the 21st century, not 1957 god damn it!<!-- Signature -->

The people at Chevy don't call it a retro vehicle. I'd say it has retro styling, but not quite a retro vehicle. They look much better in person, in pictures they just look goofy.

  11. I hate sport trucks, which is really all this thing is, but if the GT version did live up to that 450hp rumor... I'd want one.

  12. i love this truck, it looks great, even the entry model will have a not-too-shabby 325hp...i havent heard about a faster model but it should be amazing

  13. I like the styling, it is like a hot rod, except with a warranty. Definitly not a practical work truck though, and it's good no one is saying so. Maybe this will be chevys answer to the lightning?<!-- Signature -->

  14. Job well done Chevy. The question is, how much will this vehicle cost? With a retractible hardtop and an estimated 325+ horsepower, I don't know. Will the target group be satisfied with a 4 speed auto?<!-- Signature -->

  15. I think Chevy did a good job on this. I just wonder about how many they are going to sell. Doesn't seem like its too practical because most trucks are now going back to 4 door because of the family convinience. I think it looks good and would be a fun vehicle to own, but how many is Chevy planning to sell? Plus, what would the cost be?

  16. I don't see the appeal. If they're going to make a sports truck, it had better be just that: a truck that's also sporty. For the sports part, it needs to be able to compete with sports cars, and that means 0-60 in under 6 (really under 5, but I'm being fair to those out there with S2000s). I don't think that a "truck" this size can accomplish that, especially with a 4 speed automatic! Also, this doesn't look like a very heavy-duty truck. The bed looks small, the ride height is too low, and it has too much extra metal all around. This smacks, unfortuantely for Chevvy, of the Ranchero.
I think this car will draw a lot of middle-aged men who need a truck but want a young image.
Still, it's got a nice powerplant and you'd definitely notice one on the road, even if you were an auto knownothing.<!-- Signature -->

  17. I bet its going to be hevay as hell. I'm guessing over 4000lbs. So it won't be very fast even with 325 hp. And it won't handle that great either. Keep in mind it has a truck chasis. Not a vette chasis. So while with ods it could haul ass in the straight aways it will be destroyed by a stock s2000 in the twisties.<!-- Signature -->

  18. Oh My god... its a retro el camino... its a car truck... man this would probably be the only chevy i would buy... <!-- Signature -->

  19. its cool, but i still think the roof is too high...too domey...
everything else i love, gj chevy.<!-- Signature -->

  20. This truck is sweet they need to put the vortec 6.0litter in it though<!-- Signature -->

  21. it looks like a custom made car that someone would build in their garage or something. not tooo bad though. kinda almost looks lumpy though. 450hp would make it interesting..... <!-- Signature -->

  22. i remember the honda sprocket from a couple years back, it was pretty much the same idea.

but honda is better than chevy ;)

  23. I still don't like the design. The engine better be good though.

  24. Chevy is better than Honda. <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif">

Chevys sports car gets better mileage than Hondas economy Civic.
Chevys higher performance sports car is better than hondas'.
Chevy makes trucks that are tough, honda doesn't.
Chevys cost less when compared in most areas.

  25. Help ! the retro is back ! Even if the GT40 concept is great this Chevy is ugly. The only thing it has is the power: of course if a 450hp version comes out, the performances would be interesting. But that's all.<!-- Signature -->
