1. I suppose a 456 minivan would be an orgasm on wheels then.

2. You see, I knew that you are aware of "our" Sites. Thanks!!!!
Just phoned Bram 2 days ago. Just yestday I spoke to Markus.
All 3 of us are really curious about your feedback of how many
Styling Garage/Gemballa/Jankel/Sbarro converted cars are actually
languishing in Brunei, probably neglected for years??

I've got two Royal galleries and one 1980's tuning gallery on standby, but the way uploading works now it's too much work to make those (roughly 4000 pics)

17. Gullwing is a 500 pumped up with 480+ HP. The outer shell is original Gull, but the entire car is custom... It is w/o ABS... It gives the term “sliding into home” a whole new dimension considering it was driven in a Country with over 13" of rain fall avg. a month and beautiful entrances tiled in beautiful polished marble…

18. Thank You. that yellow gemballa was sold to UAE for 275.000 DM = about 137.500 Euro

19. confirmed 1 lister storm in brunei (grey colour)

21. gollum - this is fantastic detail you have provided. Am I safe to assume this is all fairly current information?

If at all possible, can you find out the chassis numbers of the two "standard models" of the F1 that remain over there? If not a chassis number, then the exterior colors could help to identify each one.

There were originally four F1 road cars that went to Brunei - chassis #002, #005, #008 and #014. Chassis #014 was the yellow one that left Brunei several years ago and now makes its home here in the USA. Chassis #002 was originally grey with a red stripe on the door. Chassis #005 was originally jet black. Chassis #008 was originally cobalt blue.

The reason this is so important to me is that another of the F1s that originally went to Brunei was apparently written off in a heavy crash by one of the McLaren mechanics working there many years ago. It's always been a mystery exactly which car it was, but your list would seem to imply that it must be one of the road cars as all the others are accounted for.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide in solving what could be the final Brunei McLaren F1 mystery.

22. The F50 Bolide was never made. It was a design study and was later scrapped

23. gollum-
Chris pointed me to a similar question he posed to you over on FerrariChat, and based on your response there it sounds like #002 and #008 are the road cars that still exist. Thanks for your help and I'm hopeful that someday you can find a way to share some photos without any penalty, however I understand that's how things work over there.

Take care!

24. yes, my info is accurate.

there's also 1 lister storm (grey)

as for the standard F1 models, believe u know the chasis # by the colours i given! as they are standard, didnt hav interest in them. only loved the rare models only.

25. There's been some concern about the condition of the cars after so much time in the Brunei climate. The one F1 that has come out of Brunei and changed hands a few times had some issues with the dashboard covering being stretched out and not fitting snugly, likely due to the heat and humidity over there. There were some other issues with it as well that were less noticeable. What condition would you say the other McLarens are in at this time?

Also, there have been conflicting stories about whether GTR #09R wears race number 59 like the LeMans winner did, or race number 58 on its flanks. Do you recall which is correct?

Thanks tremendously for the details!
