    That's a McLaren F1

@ Pinin: that pic has been in my folder for ages, I don't know where I got it from.
    Oh, and please scan that article <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

Three Cizeta's were ment to go Brunei, all RHD, I've seen pictures of all 3 of them. I thought they were the only RHD's, but then I saw this picture. Does anyone have any info on this?

  3. Brunei car pictures Gallery

Yes - someone reversed the image. Compare the Cizeta logo and the placement of the windshield wipers in your shot with others. Here's that same image flipped back around.

Thats an incredible collection you've gathered there - great job! There's even a few cars that I hadn't seen earlier - surprised me, because I thought I had quite an extensive knowledge on his collection (or atleast the part that has been leaked out into the public arena)..

As to the merc - I saw a new S class in London this summer with practically identical colours (mind you, one of the ugliest cars I've seen). I wonder if has any link to the Brunei collection. I'm guessing it may, because it also had a VERY specific license plate - I doubt it would be deemed acceptable by any authorities unless the owner someone VERY important. It seemed more like a oriental sculpture than a license plate. I'll post pics when I can - they're on a different computer, in a different city <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

There's one car that I heard of that belonged to the family but didn't see in your gallery - a modified XJS. I had pics of it somewhere, hopefully on the same computer that I mentioned before.. otherwise they're on my disk that crashed <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

Thnx, I've also heard of that XJS, but I've never seen pics of it. I'm looking forward to your pictures <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

I don't know <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/confused.gif"></A>, I've never seen the pics, only heard that it was heavily modified.
It's an TWR? It has more done to the bodywork than most TWR's. Are the changes done to it only cosmetical?

Is this the actual Brunei car?

  8. Brunei car pictures Gallery

    It's a Lister Le Mans

  9. Brunei car pictures Gallery

That plate is actually registered in the UK. 22/05/2000 and engine number 48389.

  10. Brunei car pictures Gallery

No, IIRC it was more of a candy apple red colour on the pics that I had. And also coupe, not cab.

  11. Brunei car pictures Gallery

    So this one...?

  12. Brunei car pictures Gallery

as i said, it no longer belongs to the royal family

  13. Brunei car pictures Gallery

not quite sure if this 1 ever belonged to brunei

  14. Brunei car pictures Gallery

IIRC that one was in Brunei wearing a yellow paintjob.
I should start writing all this info up somewhere, cuz I'm getting all my facts mixed.

  15. Brunei car pictures Gallery

Yeah I think that might be it, although I'm not 100% sure. I had different pics.

Again, thanks for the Lister pics Menoy.

    ---

Today's update includes 22 new pictures of:

Ferrari (456 Venice Estate & Convertible) on page 6
Jaguar (XJS Lister) on page 7
    Mercedes-Benz (W126 AMG; S320 with S600 grill; S600 SEL V12; ML55 AMG) on page 10

    I've found one pic of (I believe) the brown Venice of the 'famous' roof-scene <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

The new 456 pictures also include the first pic I've seen of the interior of a convertible.

The ML55 AMG it the Sultan's personal car (that's him in the picture).

And that picture with the Mini, Aston, Bentley, MB and Ferrari's is made with an cellphone at one of the auctions in Brunei in 2003 that are held every 3-4-5 years (it's forbidden to take pictures there) <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/amazed.gif"></A>
Remember that picture in my gallery of dozens S600 SEL's, parked outside, with their hood open? That pic was also made during that auction.

I'll post some pics that I've found a couple weeks back of an EB110. I've lost the url of the website that I got it from, but it claimed that this is an ex-Brunei car. I'm not really sure.. can anybody help me with this one?

Edit: This is a Brunei car, first ever made SS.

Glad to have helped and had an input <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> Hope I can get the ones I mentioned earlier - they were much better. Nice quality and high(er) res - IIRC smth like 800x600 done on a nice sunny day.

Don't expect them soon though - as I said its a question of recovering data from a failed HD. If at all possible it'll be no sooner than weeks (if not months).

Hey basman - thanks again for putting this together and working so hard to ensure its accuracy. It's a great photo documentary on what was hiding over in Brunei all those years. I'm still hoping that someone can surprise us all with more current photographs soon. I'd really like to know what cars are left and what condition some of the more desirable ones like the McLarens are in.

Was suprised to see that you didn't have my Venice Cab photos in your set. I only took two photo of the interior myself, but that was because I had to cross behind the ropes to get it and was trying to work quick.

Also, there's another shot of that red/tan Lister Jag that I had posted on Ferrarichat for you which I saw was not yet in the album. You can actually see it in the background of some of the 959 shots too, I noticed.

Anyway, keep up the great work my friend! <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/cool.gif"></A>

Thanks Peleton! Great pictures <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/grin.gif"></A> I´ve just added them to my gallery.

As for the XJS you posted earlier... I overlooked that one, I put it in a Lister folder together with the Storm´s. That brings me to another question: wich Lister Storm went to Brunei? The database-list lists one Storm. Only 3-4 Storms have been produced, and I think I've got 3 different Storm's on a picture... Does anyone know if one of them has been in the hands of the Brunei Royal Family?

At last one Lister Storm is here in Brazil, in the collection of former São Paulo mayor, Paulo Maluf, a car nut that has the only other Lister in Brazil (a Le Mans), a Porsche GT1 (996), a Porsche GT2, a Kremer Porsche and a Mistubishi GT 3000 with circa 600 hp.
