spending more money means you're a better person, clearly.
I might try a bike this summer, first time since jan 2010 because of knee. We'll see how it goes.
much better/less impact than running or whatever
its easy to blow red lights on them
yes that's what I'm looking forward to <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
Depends. I had a knee injury couple of weeks ago. Running didn't hurt, but biking did and walking upstairs as well.
im up to 16 miles per ride. i usually only ride twice a week, which is why i stepped it up from 3 laps to 4 (its a 4 mile loop). i try to do 3x3, but 4x2 is more realistic. on my last ride, i realized i was doing two full laps with no break and no rolling rest (8 miles), though i'm not really pushing super hard in the first place. i just set my pace based on how hard my quad group burns, and adjust the gear as necessary to keep that level. this is afternoon riding, which means windy conditions, so i was riding in some cases uphill with a 15mph headwind. how i can have headwind on all 4 legs of a square loop is beyond me, but it just means a better workout.
top tip - if you intentionally involve your glutes, you can take some of the strain off your quads.
So far so good on the new new. It took me a while to get comfy on my new saddle but my chamoix area is now fine even after 70+ miles.
I buy Giant Talon 0 29er few week ago. I don't think I post here. It prob cheap compare to you cyclist people. I has clipless pedals now. I want road bike too.
It's getting winter and sun not up so much soon. I need to buy lights, what is good? I no so serious, so no want spend hundreds.
I'm not a poofter
makes me wish i still had my 29er.
I bought one one of these - http://gallery.mtbr.com/data/mtbr/500/medium/st.jpg
For ~$300 instead of $700 and it is still one of my favorites.
i had one of these
I am a rigid man. Steel is real.
The only acceptable bike:
I'm sure it's very robust, but come on man, it's not 1950 anymore.
Not sure if this link goes to where it used to.
if you change #$%# to "****" (no caps) it goes to ebay
Rover made better looking bikes 50 years before those
