Since even the web site really doesn't know much about these cars you should all check this out.
    http://www.svoca.com/

If you're too lazy to get the facts then here they are:

    1984 1985 1985.5 1986
    Engine SPECS
    Engine 2.3 Intercooled Turbo
    Valve train 8 valve SOHC
    Intake valves 1.73
    Exhaust valves 1.49
Exhaust Single (84-85), single dual tip (85.5-86)
    Horsepower 175 (84) 175 (85) 205 (85.5) 200 (86)
    Torque 210 (84,85) 248 (85.5) 240 (86)
    Horsepower/liter 72.92 (84,85) 89.13 (85.5) 86.96 (86)
    Turbo T-3
    Turbo trim .63 (84,85) .48 (85.5,86)
Turbo cooling Oil (84-85) Oil & Water (85.5-86)
    Oil Cooler Yes
    Stock boost 14 psi @ premium (84)
    9 psi @ normal 14 psi @ premium fuel(85)
    9 psi @ normal 15 psi @ premium fuel(85.5)
    9 psi @ normal 15 psi @ premium fuel(86)
    9 psi @ normal
    Injectors
    Low Impedance 30 #/hr (84-85)
    Low Impedance 35 #/hr (85.5-86)

    Now as for performance:

1984 - 0-60 in 7.5 seconds. Standing quarter mile 15.5/90 mph. Top speed 134 mph
1985 - Same (no test records - slightly quicker than 84 due to revised gear ratios)
    1985.5 - 0-60 in 6.6 seconds, standing quarter mile in 15.10 at 91.55mph, top end 140 mph.
1986 - 0-60 in 6.9 seconds, standing quarter mile in 15.3, top end 140 mph.

I was unable to find any handling data on the Svoca web site so that must be done without. Compare this data to your WRX or your SRT-4 and then consider this being made in the mid 80's and you won't be so quick to judge. And while I do prefer the classic mustangs (64.5 - 70) and do agree with many peoples comments as to their superior styling and the alure of American V8 muscle I must say this. The 85.5 SVO did 0-60 in 6.6 seconds and the quarter at 15.10. With few exceptions - BOSS, 428cobra jet cars and the like the SVO wouldn't have any problem taking one at the local drag strip. And take any of those classic mustangs (the BOSS included) through a corner (it's true, life does have turns) and they will quickly be wishing they could handle as the SVO does. Of course the "cool" factor isn't quite the same driving my SVO as driving my 64 Galaxie XL or my das's 66 Mustang. Ok enough time spent on this, believe what you will.
