So the 997 Turbo is quicker than a Ferrari Enzo

1. Agreed. It's the most overated stat on the planet. That and the fact that neither car will ever see under 60 MPH on most road courses (what they were designed for.) If people want a stat that early in the race, they should look at 60' times instead.

2. better looking too

3. Who cares, it gets its shit ruined halfway by sometihng that costs a ton less.

4. I'm sure it takes the Enzo in the turns also. And, it does it all while not looking like rabbit poop. Porsche did really well with the new 911 models.

5. I don't believe that BS. More like 3,8-3,9 seconds. 3,8 at best.

6. I`am sure you`re one F u c k i n g retarded POS ,

7. Actually, you seem retarded enough.

8. ^^^^ are you talking about your father ???
S u c k me

9. Haha. Are you 12? OR just retarded?

10. Whoever he is, he's an imposter. James Bond never talks like that!

11. With a lot of power, 0-60 is more a measure of traction than anything. With Porsche's renown for excellent suspension and their clever AWD systems it's very possible. Still impressive as hell, though.

12. James Bond wouldn't be retarded enough to make a sn called "jamesbond"

13. Youre right. It would be "bondjamesbond."

15. "so the 997 turbo is quicker than a ferrari enzo"

well, i would always like to think so, but thats obviously like trying to fart against thunder. does anyone know what ruf and gemballa have been up to with the turbo? maybe then we'll have a match

16. 3.2 sounds a bit like bs to me, 3.8 sounds more reasonable

17. 0-60 is one of the least useful stats ever

18. not if your measuring 0-60

19. That would make it slower than a 9-year-old 993 Turbo, which doesn't make too much sense. MT tested one in '97 to 3.7 seconds.

20. If that's true, it's amazing, but by the way some people sound here, it seems to me that Motor Trend tests 0-60 times downhill... :D

21. As impressive as the turbo must be I would be hard pressed not to opt for the GT3.

22. i'm sure you are wrong

23. Some of you are claiming retarded times PORSCHE says (and they always underestimate their figures) that the manual is 3.7 and the tiptronic is 3.4 Motortrend is willing to abuse the cars to get a great jump so 3.2 is believable. It's not MY fault a million dollar car is slower.... and how about that Nurburgring time for the Enzo? Oh wait.. they're afraid to test it there *lollercopter*

24. Turbo>Enzo>CGT

25. This ownage has quality.
