Some Pictarzzz of my 3er Coupe!

  1. Exterior is 99% done, just waiting on the MTech side skirts. Pics were taken on a 500+ km drive a few weeks ago. Enjoy!

  2. Interesting choice with the TE37's, and what kind of rotors are you running? I'd assume those to be aftermarket. Clean car all and all, congrats.

  3. Thanks! They're actually LE37s <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A> with the polished lip. I absolutely love these wheels. So light, so strong, so WIN! I'm not 100% sure on the make of the rotors, but I'd guess they are cross-drilled Zimmermann as they say made in Germany and have painted hats. Pads are OEM though, which sucks <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

  4. Very clean

    Any future mods?

  5. Other than the side skirts that I mentioned, I'm just gonna change out the pads to Hawk HPS. I find the OEM ones overheat too easily after repeated high speed slow downs lol.

A short shifter kit and shifter bushing refresh is going in next week. That oughta make shifting a lot more enjoyable. There's way to much slop/play in the shifter right now. I guess that's expected after you put 121k miles on the car! :D

  6. supercharge that mofo

  7. LOL! It's tempting as hell. If only the wallet would agree <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

  8. ^ haha

Pics of the skirts you're getting? Also, I need a short throw real bad.

  9. Also, you should post this up in the modified cars thread!<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

  10. Here's a pic of the sides I'm talking about. It's part of the factory M-Sport bodykit. I already have the F+R, never bothered with the sides because I felt it was a waste of $$. But after seeing them in person and realizing how #%!@ my car looks from the side, I've pulled the trigger <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

And yes, SSK FTW! I miss the one I had in my E36 <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A> What car do you have?

Oh and where's this modified cars thread you speak of?

    edit: NVM! Found it.

  11. Ooo yes those will look good! I don't think the stock ones look bad but that is a nice oem upgrade. I have a 92 Nissan 240

  12. Nice. I've always liked the 240SX. Cheap to mod/maintain, and performs decently too. That's the one major thing I dislike about the German/European stuff. Mods on these cars are retardedly expensive. Those Volks? 900USD/rim. Bilstein PSS10 coilovers? 1600USD. Stupid, stupid, stupid prices... Blah, I guess you gotta pay to play. Sometimes I wish I had picked up a 350Z <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/sad.gif"></A>

  13. oh I like that! and that picture of your car next to the yellow M3

  14. Yea, even for simple add on's. Carbon lip for a japanese sport compact: $300. For a Euro? Like 600 lol. Why? No idea, I highly doubt no one makes wet carbon for Euro's so there's nothing explaining the price diff.

Edit: I was considering buying a cheap high mileage E36 M3 but I'm glad I didn't. Sure it would be a whole lot faster than the 240 but it would probably be bone stock still, I can't imagine mods for that. Maybe one day if I'm ballin' lol

Actually, modding E36s is now RIDICULOUSLY cheap. In the BMW Aftermarket community, a new supplier has stepped up to the plate to destroy price gouging in the past few years. www.ddmtuning.com is one of the cheapest parts suppliers I have ever seen for modifying BMWs. Hell, you can get decent coilovers for like $700! New headlights w/ HID for under $150!

That's nuts. I remember when I had my E36, I paid $400 for the SAME M3 front bumper which is now around $150 shipped. Headlights set me back $500 back in the day, and now look at the pricing. It really makes me want to shoot myself lol.

Go for the E36, you will #$%#ing love it.

  16. awesome car, I have a e36 m3 just like the yellow one in the pic, but in blue. I so wish I could jump to something like yours, but they are like 150 grand in Brazil. I need to move back to the US!

It's about time someone stepped up. However I'm not done with the 240, still alot of fun to be had once i get a new motor woo woo

  18. I finally got those matching side skirts on!

  19. it definitely looks fast. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A> and that's half the appeal, right?

  20. Nice car! Always nice to see another BMW owner take pride in their car <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
