  3. Who put on this lecture? Sounds like something feminists and ugly girls would say to tr to level the playing field against smart hot chicks.
  4. My boss and a judge who's been on the bench for 20 years. It's fine to look attractive, but wearing clubwear at work makes you look like a dumb whore.

I mean, I get that you guys want something nice to look at, but are you actually going to take a girl like that seriously? If I wanted to give guys boners at work I would have invested in breast implants, not my education.
  5. I'm sure Big Rob wouldn't mind that.
  6. Breastimplants are huge turnoff
  7. Breast implants are a hugeturnoff.
  8. Breast implants are a huge turnoff.

  9. Wait a minute, so you guys don't like it when girls do things that are too tryhard sexy, like get breast implants? And when they wear over-the-top clothes when they're supposed to be working, and then complain about how no one realises how smart they really are?
  10. High heels are club wear? Nigga please
  11. What kind of lecture do you get to be such a femen?

Breast implant are wonderful for girls who are flatter than Texas. It helps their self confidence and its easier to dress. And of course, breast implants that are like 50 pounds basketballs are ridiculous and ugly. There is a need for balance.

Guys who hate them prolly never experienced some.
  12. Like xDRANOzx said, nothing wrong with them, if it's well, lets say, "balance".

Big ass breast implants is ugly.
  13. As I originally said, high heels are fine at work when they're office appropriate. Then people stated talking about girls wearing Louboutins with their suits, which is a totally different look. Those are "going out" shoes, not "listen to this presentation" shoes.

Look good at work, but when you dress sexier, people take you less seriously. Maybe not you, or all of the apparently progressive and enlightened dudes in this thread, but some old man in the boardroom is going to see you as a floozy who slept her way up if you give him any reason to. Is this really so hard to believe?
  14. Ffs, everyone else in this thread is taking about what a turnoff implants are, yet they endorse stilettos in the office. I don't care in the least about what kind of surgery a girl wants. I'm just pointing out double standards.
  15. This isn't the 1950s . A woman can make her way up without going Lewinski on everyone. I deal with a couple of woman nicely dressed and I am not judgemental about how they dress, sexy can stay classy as long as it is properly done.

Of course 1 out of 10 miserably fail but thats the exception, not the rule... Maybe all the women in Chicago dress like bustop whores I dunno :/
  16. "Maybe all the women in Chicago dress like bustop whores"

    Hahahaha!! <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>
  17. It may not be the '50's, but you do realize that most people in charge are old men, right? Sexy can stay classy as far as your peers are concerned, but classy is in the eye of the beholder. Depending on the career path a woman expects, it's important to dress strategically and consider who is going to see her. First impressions are important and if some old guy with influence thinks I'm not dressed respectfully enough, I have a problem. It's really easy to be attractive and fashionable but conservative, so it's not like I'm making a sacrifice. I err on the side of caution.

These are things you do not have to consider because men don't have the wardrobe options women do, so your default is to be conservative. It's different for girls, and when a judge tells me how other judges talk about young lawyers behind their backs, I pay attention. I have enough to worry about without giving off the impression that I'm not intelligent. I'm just being realistic.
  18. personally i always dress as sexy as i can for the offce
  19. Sounds like all y'all are a bit jelly. If the b is smart and dresses sexy thats a win win
  20. For me, an Ideal height for a female would be 5'4"-5'7"... anything more is too tall. But Id rather have a 5'9" girl than a 5'2" girl.

    I am 6'0"
  21. I'm gonna let you in on a little secret. At the executive level, nobody takes women seriously. We pretend to take girls seriously because we have to, because it's politically correct, because it's good for the optics, and because nobody wants to deal with an equal right lawsuit. But there are realities of the gender that aren't good for business. All the conservative heels, shoulder-padded pantsuits, professional qualifications, extensive Curriculum Vitae, and glass ceiling-shattering attitudes can't change the fact that all women sometimes need to cry at work, will take extensive time off for mothering and return less focused, and will eventually say something nasty and unprofessional about a female coworker.

So it doesn't matter if girls wear louboutins or not. Double standard? Depends on how you look at it. It's hard to truely attain gender neutrality when we have two different genders.

Implants are a completely different and disgusting topic. Flashy heels are not the same as self mutilation and perversion of the natural forme.
  22. "At the executive level...we..."
  23. Since when were you at executive level?
Aren't you like a Flight Lieutenant in the Air Force?

Executive level people wouldn't take such a massive pay cut.
  24. (tips hat to this man in agreement)
  25. I haven't flown airplanes in quite a while.
