I wish i could have something like my old E30 but more modern and fuel efficient, such cars just doesnt exist anymore...
Well they do, the 1 series but thats it and its to new for me.

Besides, rust isn't really an issue anymore for that budget, I'd think. Last notorious rusters I know of were early Daewoos (up to 96 or 97) and the Opel Kadett E.
Thats not really true. The japanese still havent cracked it properly, and early Focuses werent that rust resistant either.
Swedish climate is worse than many other places, especially when you consider the large amounts of road salt that are put on our roads throughout the whole winter.
If you want excellent rust protection its either Audi or Volvo you need to look at.
