Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic In Japan, Honda calls the RSX the Integra. The RSX basically replaces the Integra in North America too.
Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic It doesn't say Civic anywhere on it, nor does this forum. Having a hard time reading? The CAR is a HONDA Integra Type R. It won't be an Acura until it gets to the US, if it ever does.

Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic Acura is the luxury version of Honda Japan. Acura still uses a Honda motor. The Honda Integra Type R is not a Civic because: 1. It doesn't say Civic on the car does it 2. The only Civic Type R I know that came out with the Integra Type R looks like a Fricking Wagon and I know an Integra don't look like no wagon. 3. YOU ARE BLIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KNOW YOUR IMPORTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic Learn top read. Go to school. Civic is no Integra, Acura is no Honda
Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic Acura is Honda. Just like Lexus is Toyota, Infiniti is Nissan, Xedos and Eunos are Mazda.

Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic Lexus is a division of Toyota, and infiniti is a division of Nissan. In Japan, teh SC430 is called Toyota Soarer, LS430 is called Toyota Celsior, IS300 is called Toyota Altezza, GS400 is called Toyota aristo.....etc..... Infiniti G35 is called Skyline 300GT, or V35. G20 is primera. I35 is Cefiro.....etc...... Acura 3.2TL is Honda Saber, Inspire. Acura 3.5RL is Honda Legend. EL is Domani....etc..... Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic This is more of a prelude replacement as I see it, but it does a horrible job.
Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic Nope, the prelude will be replaced by the 6-speed Accord coupe coming out next spring.
Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic hondaruleknows his stuff, except that MUSTANGS are not the worst cars. They may not be as good as many of the foreign cars, but they put up one bad ass fight.
Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic It's not the worst, it's just that I dun't really like it becuz it's not very comfortable to be in one, it's a bit to big in size, the build quality isn't that great. But straight line speed is awesome.

Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic Lexus IS3000 = Toyota Altezza Infiniti G35 = Nissan Skyline Honda Integra = Acura RSX oops, just noticed that this was alread answered.
The answer to the Honda/Acura, Lexus/Toyota etc. The only reason Lexus, Acura,Infinity exists is because Toyota, Honda, and Nissan only sold economy cars here in the U.S. Now think about that for a moment. What if KIA suddenly came out with a $50,000 luxury car, Who would buy it knowing that KIA makes cars for under $10,000. This is why the name plates Lexus, Acura and Infifity were created. Thats like Hummer making a sports car... In Japan for example the Lexus IS 300 is simply the Toyota Alteeza. Lexust doesn't exist in Japan. It is only a nameplate. It's basically a marketing strategy to offer their luxury vehicles in the US and actually sell them.
Re: Thats a RSX Type-R..thats no civic It's called "platform sharing", and all the manufacturers use it. it's a fast economical way for them to bring a new vehicle to market by using common parts, ie.: chassis, powertrain, etc.; the expensive parts. Prime examples: Honda Accord-->Honda Oddessy, which in turn was developed into the Acura MDX, then the Honda Pilot. It's cheaper and faster to develop new sheetmetal and suspension tuning on an existing platform than to develop an all new vehicle. Look at VW, the Golf, Jetta, New Beetle, and Audi A4 ALL share the same platform. And, I'm not sure if it still is, but the original Integra was based on a stretched Civic platform, so technically it is a Civic, in a round about way. Even the almighty, sacred Corvette had its platform pirated to develop the Cadillac XLR. Nothing wrong with it of course, it just gives consumers more variety and choice for their money.
