Re: That's not the D-type! No it is'nt a D-Type. Its the hillclimb car because it has the V16 engine and 4 rear tyres. I've seen a C-Type, a D-Type and an ultra rare 1500cc Tripoli GP Auto Union at Audi's showcase demonstration at the VSCC's Ron Flockhart memorial weekend at Donnington Park last year.<!-- Signature -->

That's the hillclimb Auto Union, which was a mixture of C and D types. It had the C types V16 engine and the D types whole front section, and it had twin rear tyres for extra traction<!-- Signature -->
