THE 24 Hours of Le Mans Thread

  1. Track seems to be drying a bit, Peugeot was just 3 seconds faster then the audi last lap.

Apparently the #9 is going to test out on int. tire.

    Cool! Good stuff.

  3. A "Dry Line" of extra grip has now formed on the track. This favors the Peugot over the Audi.

  4. New rain tires for #3 Audi (Rockenfeller).

  5. Driver change for leading Audi! McNish is in!

  6. Alright folks, it's after midnight and I'm gonna call it a night.

I leave you with these final thoughts to debate:

    1. Will the dryer track allow the Peugot to catch the leading Audi?
    2. Will the #63 Corvette catch the leading Aston in GT1?
    3. Will there be a new race record for distance?

good night fellas, it's been fun.

  7. Alright, g'night to ya.

I think I am in it till the end.

  8. The rain seems to have picked back up a bit, but without TK in the car the Audi is slowly giving up its lead to the Peugeot.

  9. The Peugeot is really pushing hard in the rain now.

  10. 45 Embassy Racing just involved in a crash. I would say it is done. Was running 5th in LMP2 at the time.

  11. 4 Saulnier Racing tags the fence. Seems to have stalled on track.

  12. I'm so %^&*ing tired, I haven't turned my eyes off the race since it started.

  13. Timing box on the Lola broke?

  14. Ha, nice, I thought you were out for a bit, haven't seen rabbitl1 though. He gotta be watching.

  15. Man the lead Audi and the Peugeot seem to be just swapping laps. Once goes a couple seconds quicker, then the other goes quicker the next lap.

They must have been around the same distance apart since the last stop.

  16. I did have a college class but I had the live timing and scoring up on the computer in class, lol

  17. Yeah, I missed heaps of the race, I stopped watching before Speed stopped their start of the race coverage and only started again when they picked up the feed again. I did watch a couple times on the Euro Sport feed but it was getting annoying, they kept switching to other things.

Speaking of college, I am suppose to do an accounting assignment for my online course but I have yet to touch it. I think I will leave it until tomorrow evening, ha.

  18. Alright, I am gonna take a nap, see you guys in about 4 hours.

  19. Woke up... 4h20m left racing...

LMP1 - #2 Audi leading, #7 Peugeot in second place, 1 lap behind.

    LMP2 - #34 VAN MERKSTEIJN MOTORSPORT leading

GT1 - #009 Aston leading, #63 CORVETTE RACING in second place 1 lap behind

GT2 - #82 RISI COMPETIZIONE in lead, #96 Virgo Motor sport 1 lap behind

  20. I think its amazing and awesome that the Murci is still running too, last, but still alive.

  21. so the actual team mates from all the teams sleep more than you..which is odd

  22. Stupid Kristensen

  23. I've been watching the whole race and I'm still not sure how the #7 fell behind the Audi. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/confused.gif"></A>
