    This thing is definently not the ancestor of the Z8. This car isn't really that great, a V12 and it only goes 154 mph?

    The only thing these 2 cars have in common is the fact they are mabe by BMW and have the number 8 in the name. I think its quite a strech to say the 850 are the precursor to the Z8. There are other cars in the BMW history that show alot more resemblance.
