I have no idea at all. Whatever comes up that makes me smile. I could see me in an S13.
Comming full circle eh? haha
Side note: My headlights won't come up unless I use highbeams, then only the right one comes up. The left makes a bunch of noises till you help it up then it goes.
I'll have an SR powered hatch back for sell in the summer
Well I would prefer an S14. Since I wanna make it my #%[email protected] though an S13 is just cheaper to do that. I'm hoping to trade my R32 GTS-T Shell straight tradie for an S14 with a KA, swap the RB over...you get the idea.
I'll trade you an s14 for your skyline.
Yeah, that would be a fun car.

It would be, an S13 would run the RB like crazy to. School/work first though.
actually my friend does have a pos s14 he wants to get rid of, that sounds like a good trade for a skyline. lol. Too bad it couldnt be easily registered here
Also, I wish there were more companies in the US that import cars from japan, like there are in canada. I want an old school car, but I need to find out how to get one over here.
POS S14 lol booo! It's a rollin chassis/parts car! Throw an RB25DET and register as a kit car
doesnt work like that
question. I walked by a 180sx today, and noticed something about the rear bumper. You know how on both the hatch and coupe model, the bumper attaches straight down? Like, you have the rear quarter (aka rocker panel?) and then the bumper attaches but it's a 90 degree line, unlike most cars which have a 180 degree line. See below pic to see what I'm talking about. Anyways this 180 with an aftermarket bumper didn't have the 90 degree line, instead it seemed to have a 'normal for every other car' 180 degree line.
Anyways I've looked online at some aftermarket bumpers. How do they attach?? It doesn't make sense to me, I can't see how the sides would slap over just the quarter panels. The reason I wonder is because this is where my car is rusting bad, and if I can replace it with something that can't rust, then we have a winner.
thsi is what i mean when i say a normal line, it just goes across, where as the 240's goes straight down
After market bumpers just go over the lower rear of the corner panel. What doesn't make sense?...lol. Looks much better that way for sure.
you can see in this picture that it extends and attaches to the quarter panel in the wheel well.
How does it stretch over when fitting? One end on at a time? I just find this strange (but yes it does look better this way)
I am going to sell off the following parts: JDM turn signals (pair), clear side markers (pair). I decided I'd rather an S15 front end because pop ups and I just don't get along. But before that, I need money for rims, the new weather stripping all around, then new rear quarters. Then an SR20. Then cosmetics. How far will I actually go with this I have no idea, depends how long I keep the car. Anyways, the parts are brand new in box (opened to see if everything was in good shape). I figure I'd ask you guys first if you are interested (not that any of you have a chuki front end as far as I am aware, but just in case) and then try on beyond.ca. I waited four months for the turn signals, as they apparently are on back order all over the place.
Asking $120 canadian for the turn signals, and $60 canadian for the clear side markers, plus shipping. That's what I paid for them, including shipping fee's. I'd like to at least make that back. If you're interested let me know, I'll be raising the price a little if I have to resort to beyond.
If you want an SR possibility of an S15 front clip can do you good. I heard from importers themselves though S13 SR's are cheaper and easier to mod therefore a better buy.
I'm just post whoring but I would like to express how badass it is to have such a 240sx/nissan community on a worldwide forum.
Yea I'd love for this Nissan community to be pimpin too. But yea, I have seen alot of adds for S15 front clips right here in the city which is nice. Not sure if I'd keep that stock bumper, and I guess the fenders would have to be cut and welded to the stock s13 ones. However if I do actually do an S15 conversion one day, I think it may be better for me to just get aftermarket frp fenders, so they can't rust. But the bonus of a full s15 clip would be the 6 spd tranny
6 speed I hear is overated. With the money you save that equals an upgraded turbo on the S13 SR.
Yeah, a redtop sr is the way to go. You could get a black top for a couple hundred more, but the only difference is probably less miles because its newer.
Its a few hundred more, S14 blacktop is even more. The difference is the VVT but #$%# VVT when with the price difference you can buy a bigger turbo.
