  2. cobalt ss supercharged... the new caliber SRT-4...

  3. God in Heaven the WRX is ugly. So glad they fired the designer responsible for that catastrophe of a front end.

  4. Didn't know the V6 Camry was that fast

  5. uh....nice super-narrow price range. That obviously is picked specifically to weed out other competitors.

  6. hehe my parents just bought one

  7. I'd drive a Saturn Aura.

  8. Reminds me of when my tard friend thought his GLI (which is heavier than the GTI) could beat a 2006 v8 Stang. I think he would shit his pants if he saw that a saturn could beat him.

  12. WRX would be a solid choice. Plus there's potential.

  13. MazdaSpeed 3 = FTW

  14. Camry V6:
Zero to 60 mph: 5.8 sec

    WHAT THE F*CK

  15. it's called a target price range, they probably researched what was the most frequent amount of money spent on a car within the past 2 or 3 years and the result was 20-25k, now, want people to buy the issue? market it as "the fastest cars for 20-25k"

  16. In the US, all cars are faster. I mean, they quote a 14.3 second 1/4 mile but the best an Aurion has managed to do here is mid 15's.

  17. people here are on power-trips, they want the best and fastest they can get, i've especially noticed that going to school in the south, so much bullshit, every guy between 26-40 has a rediculously useless 10 liter superduty turbocharged diesel truck and they think they are the epitomy of accomplishment or they have a brand new mustang or just something completely useless, in America, people over-feed their egos, and car companies know how to market their cars to attract NA

  18. I believe you about the 10 litre truck business. When I went to Hawaii (close enough to the US) and hired a V8 Mustang, I thought it was a pretty quick thing in a straight line.

But at one point, I was getting onto a freeway from a dead stop and I absolutely gunned it just to have a huge truck overtakes me (while I'm still accelerating flat chat towards 60mph) and leave me for dead! Those trucks can be damn fast.

  19. What the #$%# at the WRX too, that's #$%#ing STI times.

I checked in Wheels, the Aurion's 0-100 km/h was listed as 7.4 seconds but I think that was for an Auto. How much quicker would the manual be?

  20. haha, apparently American's car drive. <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/tongue.gif"></A>

  21. I don't know if they were on a proper drag strip or what because that is seriously STi territory for the WRX.

  22. Sti's are low 13 second cars...

  23. If I saw a 5.6s to 60 time and a 14.3 1/4 mile for an STi I'd be seriously disappointed.

  24. yeah dude, same thing happened with my buddy, massive superduty was #$%#in with him on the freeway, he got fed up, and destroyed him (MTM Audi S4)

actually he's got a lot of stories about that, lots of dumbasses in Pontiac Grand Ams and what have you will #$%# with him thinking he doesn't have shit except a nice blue paint job, and bye bye.

it just seems like people here put their ego before intellect a lot more than most countries

  25. STI is under 5 seconds 0-60
