The realism of rFactor

We don't race as often as we used to, but I wouldn't mind getting everybody together for some crazy Panoz GT2 action...

This mod sure came out of left field. It's not quite done yet but it appears to have real promise.

Click the link below to get a free one-month trial of iRacing courtesy of Radical!

    http://www.radicalsportscars.com/racing/virtual-racing

I just submitted the form but I won't be activating my code until the beginning of April, so if you want to race with me, please be patient for a few weeks. Otherwise, start racing now and then give me tips/pointers so I can be extra successful later.

  12. The realism of rFactor

So i tried iRacing through radical's month free thing. shit setup and it costs a million dollars to be able to play, but my god the driving is awesome.

  13. The realism of rFactor

I'll use the included cars but I might buy Barber and VIR because I think those are the two best tracks in North America.

  14. The realism of rFactor

arent they like 15$ a piece? i know the cars are and its brutal, i could buy a copy of any good racing game for the cost of a car and a track.

  15. The realism of rFactor

VIR is $20 and I think Barber is too, but that's still much cheaper than paying for a real trackday.

  16. The realism of rFactor

Witch is why I bought COD4. I wanted to kill sand niggers, but at $60 compared to a nearly $20,000. What a value!

    The realism of rFactor

    An introduction to iRacing...

  18. The realism of rFactor

iRacing cost 18$ million to develop WTF

  19. The realism of rFactor

yeah but seriously, any racing experience in real life is inexplicably greater than sitting on a computer. if you have the determination to save money, you can easily race some sort of cheap car/kart.

  20. The realism of rFactor

I probably only spend $1k a year to race karts. It's pretty cheap IMO

    nice!!1

  22. The realism of rFactor

Why does that surprise you? Their laser-scanning technology is mad-expensive.

  23. The realism of rFactor

I know, and the fun is untouchable

  24. The realism of rFactor

it does because the start up cost is risky considering how big of investment that is.

  25. The realism of rFactor

yeah, but understandably, there is a MASSIVE market of bored middle-aged men who are aching to try racecars, sooo iRacing is win for all of those guys. plus, they knew they were gonna make their money back lol, they invested it intelligently.
