  1. and crossed em.... decently... grrrr. could be much quicker. 250 hp should jack that lil ***** to 60 much quicker.

Well, it's a roadster, so of course it's going to look similar, though if you'd ever seen the car you'd know that it has styling cues that are completely all its own. The Mazda Miata looks VERY different, infact the only similarity I can see is the fact that they're both two seater roadsters.

I know they really didn't steal the designs but if cars were able to procreate then a z3 and a miata would have offspring quite similar. Heh <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/cboardhtml/emoticons/cool.gif"></A>

Most styling cues can be on previous cars, so no vehicle is going to be 100% original. However I think that the S2000 has rather original lines. Actually you can see some S2000 cues in the rear end of the Z4.

    Don't be stupid.

  6. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

Haha, I think the RX-8's rear is 80% the same as the S2000's.

  7. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

I agree, much resemblance in the tail lights. I think the rest of it is pretty unique for better or worse. I'm not sure what to make of it, I'm yet to see on in person.

Not to mention that teh behavior of the RX-8's engine is pretty similar to the S2000's. Both don't ahve much torque and high revving.

  9. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

This is a really powerful car, my brother took me out in one, its his company car, the rims on it had to be at least 20 inches!

  10. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

Yeah because you know those rims really make that car so much faster. Maybe if you put 22's on it it'll compete with the F1!!!
Seriously, shut up. Yea and they're 16" rims. 20" rims would not even fit on the car, not even close.

  11. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

About stealing the design from Miata and Z3...

Come on guys... don't be jelaous because S2000 looks great.. If you seriously think that the design is stolen take a look at the concept car behind the s2000 and things might seem clearer to you.. Then we can talk about who stole what from who....
And now this Z4... hah.. uglier version of S2000 with BMW logo and finishing...
    Think before you write, ok?

  12. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

Didn't Mazda have those tailights before Honda?

  13. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

    Nope.

  14. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

other than being a roadster i fail to see any similarities

  15. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

Well if not, they pretty much like alike

  16. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

    They do look very simliar.

  17. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs

  22. Re: They stole Miata And Z3 designs
