It doesnt even look that like a Porsche. Its a sweet looking car. I wish i had one to myself.

5. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

Its OK. But the Porsche shits all over it. It's english and unreliable

6. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

So you are saying that they guy who made a bunch of "unreliable" cars for all those companies is the one who helped make the Noble's engine? I think the only reason you wouldn't here too much about the Noble having accidents or crashing is because there just aren't that many on the road, infact I have never seen one. So it looks like a good car from the specs but I would be hesitant to say it is as reliable as a well established manufactorer such as the ones you listed

So British cars are rubbish are they. A Posrchse can crap all other them can it. Well let me mention just 1 car:

TVR Cerbera Speed Twelve

Now can a Posrche crap on that. How many porsches do you know that can go from 0 to 60 in 3 seconds flat. If you can then please say but i think you'll have a hard job to beat it.

It's a very pretty car, and I personally feel that it's better for being British. I have great respect for several British auto companies, particularly Lotus and TVR, and if Noble has survived all those consulting projects Vanquish mentioned, it's likely their quality is up there too. I'd have to say that up front it does look saddeningly very much like a run-of-the-mill Porshe. Noble should have tried something a little more attention-getting. The rear end looks ludicrously overdone. A huge overhanging spoiler AND a rear wing? Somebody must have some serious downforce issues. I wonder, if I removed the spoiler and wing, would it scoot around on its front wheels at speed?

this car is under a ton. downforce in such a ligth and powerful car is neccesery.

9. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

My friend said it's the best handling car in the world. True?

10. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

Its not the best handling car, but it is definetly one of the best handling.

11. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

yah GB makes good track cars. the lotus exige is another example (power to weight of a viper) and it can turn. however a semi high range porsche such as a gt2 can beat those pesky cerbera speed 12's around da track and the daur 962 lemans posts a 2.5 2.6 0-60 just so you know speed 12's havent won musch either if you are going to promote british cars promote things like this or lister storms not that 8.0 monstrosity (even if it does do more with those 8 liters than a viper ...)

12. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

so a porsche can crap all over it. yeah. a porsche that costs nearly twice as much and has nearly 100hp more

13. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

This car is really nice, and has some nice stats...too bad not sold in North America...tsk tsk tsk. Its a little on the pricey side tho...50 000 pounds..dayumm

you think this shit is hot? it looks like a lotus! vanquish you wasted a good 48k. that could have been spent on somethin more stylish. personnaly id never get in a car with a guy which has as bugly a car as that. at this point i would have rathrd a mercedes or a bmw. and if think this car is the hottest shit, u wait till september 2002... and when you see the prancing horse, dont say i didnt warn ya.

OK....what a wanker!
You're comparing a Noble to a Diablo......hmmmmmm it seems this lad didn't go to school!
The Noble does look a bit like a Lotus but so what?.......All Lotus' are gorgeous!
Noble consists of a 45 man/women crew....not very big eh and they are hand built.
Always gets voted the 2nd best handling car in the world and is a very good rival to a Porsche.
Now I suggest u shut up before u say something stupid again!

18. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

It looks alot better on TV than it does in still pictures. Probably one of the best handlers too.

19. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

im not sure about best hadling car in the world but with a weight of 2200 lbs its got to be good. and on the questions concerning durability the basis of this engine is widley used so im guessing that it is pretty durable.

20. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

I lied.......they're not a 45 man/woman crew......that's too big.......they only consist of 15 people based in a little factory in Barwell.....not bad for car maker that produces the world's second greatest handler!

21. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

Oh yeah, is this thing wicked or what? Nice styling and engine too.

22. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

go and sit in pedantry corner you illiterate oik.

how dare you compare anything over 100k to this. lambos are slow for the money. ferraris are too exclusive and are unrealistic. they must cost a TON to run, but this is a tidy car and is very very fun to drive, ask any of the mags that have tested it.

23. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

well if you think british cars are unreliable it has a ford engine(but you probably think ford is unreliable too).

24. Re: this is the best #%$# that you ever seen

It is great for handling, and it costs almost half the price of a Porsche, not even in the same price bracket... Plus the Noble is prettier. Especially since every middle-aged man and his old dog own a Porsche, Noble's are a bit more individual!

It's not a drag car, but it is excellent for cornering & has amazing accelaration. BMW? Mercedes? I thought we were talking performance track cars?

I know there are loads of straight roads in America, because its the same in Australia, but in England, everything is winding, narrow roads so handling & quick accelaration come before raw horsepower, for me anyway!

Besides, this things makes an amazing sound when you drive it... Those turbochargers sound sweeeet!!

Vanquish: What is mpg on this thing?
