  1. 400 horsepower, 40 miles per gallon, low emissions, runs on regular gasoline. This is the future boys. Drive by wire computers utilize the engine and motors at their most efficient ranges. Regenerative brakes recovers loads of otherwise wasted energy. A capacitor stores the electricity temporarily, so no heavy batteries.

    I agree this car looks pretty nasty, but this experiment isn't about looks anyway. Until fuel cell or some other fancy fuel is more practical, this power setup will be very popular. Expect many cars like this on the roads over the next 1-2 decades.

    I wish this was the future... but the production costs are too high to make it. I think GM's Autonomy is the future, but hey, I'd buy this and I hate Honda!<!-- Signature -->
