Have you thought about explaining why you think this. Do you think that much Bhp is too much for any car? Do you think it wont be able to handle that much Bhp? Maybe you think people wil kill themselves in it if they put their foot down?

Some people say you can never have too much HP, but I'm just saying that if people underestimate the power of this car's engine they may make the car lose control. Just don't want anybody to get hurt. Look at how much HP dragsters have. Point said.

Thats true, but you have to remeber, it's not the average lad down the road that will buy one of these, there is always the possibity of someone losing control in a car, if you press too hard round a corner in a BMW M3 you'll go into an uncontrolable spin, the McLaren F1 is one of the more dangerouse cars on the road for that due to the throttle response, you have to be so light to keep the car uder 70Mph, let alond 30 and 40 in urban areas, there has been alot of crashes in F1's over here, a few have died.

A Yugo has too much power for some people...

  5. Re: Too much Hp for its own good?

At the end of the day, it just depends on the driver.

  6. Re: Too much Hp for its own good?

Every buyer of this car should have to have a racing license.

  7. Re: Too much Hp for its own good?

this engine puts out 1001, 535 horses less than that of the mclaren f2 which puts out 1,536 hp
its not the car that kills......its the driver

  8. Re: Too much Hp for its own good?

This car puts out 1001 PS which is 987Bhp, that F2 you mentioned isn't McLaren and it was a one off concept, do a search for McLaren F2 on oogle and at the top is a message board about it and a link.

well if you dont want allot of hp dont worry you wont be rewarded with one of these or anything like that.

  10. Re: Too much Hp for its own good?

This Bugatti's engine is a far cry from those of dragsters! Funny cars have 6000+hp! Top FUel racers have 3000+! 1000hp may be a lot, but any manufacturer who gives its car that power, gives it the proper manners, too. Besides, anyone with the capability to dish out $750K must have had racing lassons already!

Funny cars and top fuel dragsters use essentially the same engines. Both produce in excess of 6000 hp.
