Top Gear Track times

  1. yes , but conditions were'nt exactly perfect. I WANT A RE-TEST ON A pERFECT DAY AND ALL CARS AT ONCE!!!!! (i know it won't happen) but thats the only real way to get the perfect numbers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(LoL...... don't mind me too much coffee)
  2. CC8S tied, well lost by a little, to the Murcielago and was whooped by a Challenge Stradale. Makes me wonder about the CCR...
  3. For the comparison for Enzo and CGT, in fact both are great, simply some of the greatest supercar at all time.

Enzo have faster top speed and high speed stability(confirmed by AMS Nardo test) but with nervous handling with more electronic aid, where CGT may have better handing set up with better compliance with poor track surface(confirmed by Sport Auto test in the Ring) and may be even more useful on the daily use in the public road.

It seems that the Top Gear track with quite a long flat straight which may suit to the Enzo...
  4. everything suits the Enzo<A BORDER="0" HREF=""><IMG BORDER="0" SRC=""></A>
  5. Did the old stig die?
  6. No, he just lost his drive ....
  7. They haven't tried the Saleen S7 have they? Saleen claims that they will hand any competion its ass.
  8. No they havent....
  9. It's not up to date
  10. Vanquish S: 1 min 27.1secs

    DB9: 1min 27.1secs

    575 GTC: 1 min 26.8secs
  11. I thought the 575 GTC would have done better. Its rigt next to the Corvette C6. I was expecting 1.24.00-1.25.00

Question...Is Top Gear going to show a review about the McLaren F1 and Ferrari F40 during the season?

As for the Koenigsegg CCR...I would like to see the Stig trying to beat the Enzo's laptime.
  12. It looked to be a tidy lap from the 575 too.

I know that what they show is most likely the best bits from all the Stig's attempts rather than THE lap, but he seemed to pretty much nail it and the car looked to be handling very well.

When you consider how bad Jeremy said the Vanquish's gearbox was and how good the Ferrari obviously is, the Aston must be a pretty good car out on the track to come in only 0.3 secs down.

Acceleration and braking went to the 575 ... just - so I guess on the move the Vanquish S (and DB9 since it got the same track time) must be a big improvement over the original Vanquish.
  13. 1.26 8 fior the 575 GTC ?? that sucks <A BORDER="0" HREF=""><IMG BORDER="0" SRC=""></A>
  14. with its high downforce i wonder if it will be the first car to handle that soft right all out the enzo cgt and ford gt couldnt they all lifted...

"have to learn how to drive the car, when everything in your mind tells you that nothing not even a car should go through a corner that fast" saleen...
  15. Hell yeah!

I love that car. Even I'm impressed it beat the SR3.
  16. 1min 19.0sec is less than 1min 19.0sec ???

    <A BORDER="0" HREF=""><IMG BORDER="0" SRC=""></A>
  17. Ohh, wait.

I must have mistakened that time for the CGT's.
  18. Some one needs to add this to the list.
  19. And another.......

    Morgan Aero 8 GT: 1 min 25.9secs
  20. I think you'll find the Radical SR3 is still top.

It set it's time first so the Enzo would have had to beat it to go top.

SR3 still in first place MUAHAHAHAHAHA :p

  23. "1 min 27.1 secs - Aston Martin Vanquish S TVR T350C" is not one car, you should change that, and add the 997 already, that episode was a month ago!

    1 min 28.9 secs - Porsche 911 997 Carrera S (Very Wet)
