Top Speed Governor Removal......

Discussion in 'Modified / Tuned Cars' started by Prophecy, May 17, 2007.

  1. If your friend, or his mechanic, or whatever, did any of the engine work that you claim they've done, the ECU would have been replaced or at the very least remapped.

  2. Hm, I'm not sure... I don't know ALL that he did to the car. Though, yea, the ECU would have bumped up the top speed, along with other parts, but that WOULD mean that the governor would have been removed. I'll have to check back with him again and make sure to see what all he had done, so we could narrow down what the problem is exactly, or if there's even a problem, and he's just a beginner tuner.

Bro, ask here, you'll get a real answer rather than just put downs - http://www.hondaaccordforum.com/

I'd tell you if I knew, but I haven't the slightest idea what is available for the Accord.

  6. This thread should have never been made.

  7. The only thing an Accord doing 130+ will elicit is laughter from nearby motorists.
