could someone please explain to me exactly what torque is (i think it has someting to do with the spinning of the wheels, but im not sure) and also how and if torque can be increased, and how it works...thanks a lot<!-- Signature -->
Re: Torque By definition torque is the force of twist. In car terms it is how much force is being applied to spin the drive-shaft by the engine. This engine is simply breathtaking. Volkswagen 5 litre V10 = 313 Horses, 553 foot pounds torque Duramax 6.6 litre V8 = 300 Horses, 520 foot pounds torque Navistar 7.3 litre v8 = 235 Horses, 520 foot pounds torque This engine will definetly become a standard for light/ medium duty trucks around the continent! NOW TAKE YOUR 100 FOOT CHEVY ACTORS AND SHOVE THEM UP YOUR ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: Torque put it this way dude. the more torque you have, the longer your burn out. thats why these lil cars with 4 bangers can go 170 mph but cant leave more than 30 feet of rubber. more horsepower=faster speeds. in truck terms, the more torque you have, the more shit you can haul.
