Couldn't agree more. It does look very much like a rolls royce, just like the present 300. This one just copied it even more, especially with those suicide doors. Whats the point of this? How can they copy a British/German brand so bluntly and expect everyone to think how nice and special it is.
damn that is a rolls-royce,chrysler is going bad with this concept :s
I'm no fan of the block-of-butter Phantom, and I gotta say I wasn't too happy when i first saw this car. Having been wishing for a new Imperial for years, this wasn't the best answer to my prayers. having seen videos of it at the show, though, I must say its grown on me slightly. I like the front-reminds me of the late-50's and early 60's Imperials. I wish car makers would get a little more adventurous with the styling, however. Now, if only they'd strap on some foot-high fins...
yea. That was my first impression too. Stupid #$%#ing Chrysler, they don't come up with their own damn ideas.
The whole point of this was to compete with Rolls or Bentley
So to compete with them, you come up with something that looks almost exactly like them instead of coming up with something new that would catch everyone's attention. Real smart move there. Plus, how in hell would Chrysler ever compare to Rolls-Royce and Bentley? Not even close.
Absolutely To compete with another car, you have to come up with something else, something DIFFERENT, an aspect of an automobile that would make the keen-eyed buyer choose the latter over the former..
I like it even with this "rolls-royce look".
I don't think it looks like a Rolls. A lot of cars have big grilles, just because this is another car with a big grille, doesn't mean it looks like a Rolls Royce.
It looks similar to the older Imperials. Look at a 1974, and you might get the idea. It's hard to say that it looks like any specific year though, you just look at it, and see it. I'm a big Chrysler fan so I've looked at all the older Imperials etc. The rear end though - Looks like something I've seen before, can't put my finger on it.
Overall, I like the design. Look at some of the other shots, from the auto shows, they do better justice.
this chrysler definately needs to be brought out to the streets. i cant picture a nicer car. in my opinion its amazing. chrysler is coming out with some sick cars.
More like a 66'(?) Chrysler Imerial look alike
I like it...
