1. OMG POST MORE PICS OF THE GIRL IN YOUR AVATER!#$%#!@!!1

2. Just click on my avatar.

3. why does your profile have pictures of thailand? and where are the friggin ladyboys? i am disappointed.

4. oh and the car that has the lightest kerb weight it the winner.

5. Because having a marginally lighter car automatically makes it superior... Whats your justification for this?

6. erm.. ever heard of power to weight?

7. Ever heard of other factors, such as: "weight distribution" "looks" "suspension" "ride quality/ handling"...etc.
Weight in itself shouldnt be the key to choosing the car imo, it is crucial, I agree, but both cars are very light and I'd personally pic on the basis of looks and feel. Since both cars are remarkable and most wouldnt be able to push them to their full potential Id simply go for the one that appealed the most to me. But theyre both amazing.

8. meh.. dont be so pedantic, they are both practically the same anyway.

you are shit.

9. The Mosler looks better.

10. I don't like the head lights of the Ultima.

11. Ultima GTR, custom paint, Osmos hubless wheels.

13. WTF, show some respect, no need to talk like that.
For me it is the Ultima.

14. Just found this thread was wondering if you would take a twin turbocharged mosler photon, or ultima with a supercharged ls7?

15. ultima for me. I think they look awesome, and would drive it on the streets just for the WTF factor.

16. I just think that a lingenfelter turbocharged mosler mt900 would be the sickest supercar ever. The new Photon ways in at just over 2100 lbs, add in the weight of the turbocharger components and it should weight in under 2300 lbs, which is well under most other supercars. Then you have a 505 hp engine as a base, considering that Mosler and Lingenfelter have worked together before, it would make sense that Lingenfelter would have no problem turbocharging a Mosler MT900 for the right price (I would say around 100,000$, which is over double the price of the Standard 427 TT conversion). Throw in the price of a Mosler mt900 which is 180,000$, and you have a 800+ hp supercar, that weighs in at under 2300 lbs, with a proven track record, for under 300,000 dollars. Which is half the price of the S7, CCX, Zonda, and any other supercar that comes close to those levels of performance. Plus IMHO, the mosler is one of the hottest looking supercars out there. I challenge anyone to find a better supercar out there than a turbocharged mosler photon. P.S. these are the motor trend specs for the stock Photon.
Zero-to-60 mph 3.12 sec
Zero-to-100 mph 7.11 sec
Standing Quarter-Mile 11.02 sec @
126.88 mph
Braking 60 mph - Zero 100 ft.
Braking Zero - 100 mph 3.8 sec
Zero - 100 mph - Zero 10.98 sec
600 ft. Slalom 74.7 mph

Motor Trend Total Performance Test:
Figure Eight
23.3 sec average lap time @ 0.90 average g-force/ 1.14 maximum g-force

Just add 300 hp and 300 ft/lbs to all those figures, and think what could be.

18. I see an ultima, and it's lighter, stripped to the bare, and purely for the track. The Mosler is the same way, but at the very least, it still looks good and not just purely functional. I'll have me a mosler.

I can't say for certain as I have never driven a Mosler. From the pictures I have seen I like the Mosler's finish & look better but I have never seen one in person. But the Mosler is heavier and will cost alot more than the Ultima.

Now if I could get it into the country.

20. Mosler Photon. I think it looks better, plus the Ultima is a "kit car", and with the MT900 you get a fully certified roadcar.

21. Can anybody think of a better bang for your buck super car than a LPE twin turbocharged Mosler MT900. 800+ hp, and I don't see why you couldn't get it street legal except in Cali, and if you live in Cali and can afford a twin turbo Mosler you can afford to pay the ticket lol. Plus you get a 3 year 36000 mile warranty from LPE, how much sweeter can it get. All for under 300,000 dollars. Also Mosler is located in Florida, and LPE is located in Indiana, so the maker of the car, engine builder, and tuner are all within the U.S., only a handful of supercars can boast that. Here is the track record of the racing version, I think it speaks for itself, MT900R Racing Accievements

2001
Daytona 24 hours GT class Pole position (Grand-Am)

2002
Daytona 24 hours GT class pole position (Grand-Am)
Nextel 250 - Miami-Homestead Speedway 1st place GT (Grand-Am)
Bathurst 24 hours 2nd overall

2003
Daytona 24 hours GTS class Pole and win, with Moslers in 1st, 3rd and 4th places. (Grand-Am)
Barber 250 at the Park - May 18, Birmingham, Alabama, 1st place GTS (Grand-Am)
British GT Championship winner
Spa 1000kms winner
Bathurst 24 hours 5th overall

2004
Spanish GT Champion

2005
FIA G2 Class 'Champion'
Brands Hatch Tag Heuer 250 winner
Silverstone 24 hours winner
2nd in Spanish GT Championship

Cars racing in Europe

UK
Rollcentre Racing
Eclipse Motorsport
Kevin Riley Racing
Woodcock Brothers/Virgo racing

Spain
GTA Motorsport
Roger Marketing
Motor Competicion (ex Balfe car)
Automoviles y Servicios S.A. (new for this year)

Germany
Eigner Racing (new for this year).

The only cars that I would even put in the same class as this car would be a Bugatti, S7, Zonda, Enzo, F50, Apollo, Porsche GT, and maybe a couple others, and all of these cars are double the price of a Turbo Mosler MT900. Plus the production versions are supposed to get carbon fiber rims, how sweet is that. A sub 10 second 1/4 mile, in a street legal, proven track car.

22. The mosler photon weighs 2189 lbs. The ultima gtr 720 weighs 2183 lbs. This can hardly be considered a weight advantage. At least with the mosler, you can see out the back! The mosler looks better, will perform as well with the same hp (close enough to make no difference, traction will be the deciding factor), and which one has race wins, btw? The Ultima is a fantastic vehicle, and is record breaking. But i'd take the mosler

23. I'd take the Mosler! Like someone else said, the Ultima GTR is kinda 'kit car'ish, and doesn't look nearly as good as the Mosler! The Mosler is made out of carbon fibre and kevlar! Right now, with only 430 hp engine, the Mosler can hit 0-60 in 3.1 seconds; imagine adding 300 more hp and torque? That's going in the range of 0-60 in 2.2 to 2.3 seconds. That's if we're throwing the same [American] Chevy V8 engine in both, that has 720 hp! Which the Ultima GTR used to make its world record 0-60-0 times with.

Plus, as I'm American, the Mosler also being American, is a nice 'national pride' thing, to shove in the Euroboys' faces! At least the ones that always say Americans can't compete with Europe in the car business. This Mosler says differently (So does the Saleen S7, as well)! :D
