Yeah, the American donation sounded pretty pathetic. I saw that Canada donated about half what the US did (but has 1/10 the population of course). US should have started w/ 100 mill to keep pace... The stingyness was mentioned on the News Hour tonight and the US rep' said they will give a pile more later when they have a better idea about the need... that's probably a better idea in fact... Edit -- Actually Canada's initial pledge is twice what the US's is. That's pretty sad...

A) The number is 150 billion. Get your facts straight. B) We pledged 35 million, get your facts straight. C) The US gives more aid than any other country. Stop complaining.
