  1. "So far the United States has provided $35 million in aid, a number expected to rise, President Bush (search) said Wednesday from his ranch in Crawford, Texas. Japan has contributed $30 million, Australia $27 million. Other nations that have contributed relief are the United Kingdom with $29 million, Germany with $27 million, France with $20 million, Saudi Arabia with $10 million and China with $2.6 million."

    Youre on.

  2. Canada's intial pledge was 4 million, you twit.

  3. This thread is pathetic.

The United States shouldn't give any donations to any nation EVER again. No one #$%#ing deserves it. Not for any reason, not for any disaster.

You pathetic, ungrateful, jealous, parasitic mother#$%#ers.

  4. Hong Kong govt. is still deciding if they are going to donate $9.2m or $12 million, who cares! Just give some money!

New Zealand, considers themselves Australia's biggest rival are going to donate several thousand dollars, what a joke.

So HSV I'm supporting Aus for this competition, as long as it is for a good cause, and it is<A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/emoticons.html"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="http://speed.supercars.net/pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>.

  5. You don't have any friends, do you?

  6. dont worry, Australia does not consider New Zealand our rival, you are just a thorn in our arse.

  8. Well, does he?

  9. It's the fact that no matter what we do, someone criticizes us. We can never do anything right to the rest of the world, and I am sick of trying. I don't like being hated by the rest of the world, but it's unavoidable. And parasitic assholes like those who post on this site absolutely enrage me with their attitude that America is always wrong no matter what.

  10. No, everyone says America should deal with their own problems, we should've kept that $14,000,000.

  11. Exactly. Which is it, world? Do we keep to ourselves and stop policing the rest of the world? Or is it our duty as the world's most powerful nation to do something?

You don't get to chastize us for our military involvement in the Middle East by saying we should keep to ourselves, and then at the same time, lambaste our donation to South Asia because you think we should have given more.

Make up your #$%#ing minds, or shut the hell up all together.

  12. You're right, the distinction between spending vast sums invading random countries and giving much needed diaster relief is just window dressing...

  13. maybe its about priorities and the greater good. The funniest thing is that none of you can admit you are wrong, no matter how far removed from the administration you are. The whole idea of democracy is to allow you to disagree with your leaders. Dont confuse patriotism with what is right.

  14. We have the right to disagree with the administration, just some people take that right too far and make all of America look bad.

  15. Unbelievable. You just don't get it. You only want hand-outs when it fits conveniently into your political agenda.

Never satisfied. Never grateful. Always biting the hand that feeds you.

  16. oh, and obviously the 'right' thing to do is disagree w/ the administration. you're the reason why Spyder sometimes has a point when criticizing australians.

  17. Maybe I don't disagree with them because I believe what they are doing is right?

    hmmm... novel idea, isn't it?

While I think we could be doing a better job in Iraq, that doesn't mean that I don't think we should be there.

  18. No, the majority of you on this site are so blinded by the star spangled banner that you can see the truth.

    1. The US should have donated more money to the Tsunami victims, at least an equal percentage of GNP with other countries.

  19. eitehr way its about time the US sees the much needed countries that are so ignored, what really is sad is the fact that it takes the deaths of so many innocent lives to get this done.

  20. Take your GNP and shove it up your ass. It's small enough to probably fit.

  21. Also... PBR is shit beer.

  22. that is such a stupid statement. you guys are assholes for whining that one country 'didnt give enough'. i didnt realize there was some magical amount that a country should be giving, leaving them open for ridicule if they dont give this imaginary amount. quit being asses.

  23. While Australia has it's nose stuck in Americas arse.

  24. They're being crazy assholes.

  25. Dude, $14 million is nothing. I dont really care, what i do care about are the retards who will get on their high horse to defend the USA no matter what. If the USA started commiting genocide against all mexicans, Im sure a whole bunch of members would be on here defending the USA because mexicans steal their jobs, and it was right to kill them.
