    1. From late 2005 Vairano give better times (or there's a new test driver...)
    2. Enzo was an old unit, pre-series, the same of 'Enzo Peformance Day' -april 2003-, the F430 was a MY06, fixed, improved, and with Pirelli Pzero Corsa
    3. The answer of Marco Perrucca Orfei

    The "Club Quattro secondi" (four seconds club) has provoked much enthusiasm but also several arguments between our readers, cause some differences we obtained and already published previously from Quattroruote in occasion of the normal tests on road (Ferrari F430, Lamborghini Gallardo and Dodge Viper). Premised that, when test draft experiences them, small differences in turn out are absolutely normal, the values find to you during the supertest deserve some consideration in more sure. Acceleration:
    All the cars have been tried from the same test pilot and have been use all means you available in order to obtain the maximum performances: launch control if present (and thought effective), overboost for the 911 Turbo.
    Ferrari F430 F1: is a model year a 2006 it has small technical modernizations. It differed, moreover, from that one tried the year before also for the tires Pirelli Pzero Corsa (now available like optional).
    Unfortunately was not possible catch the famous time of 3,6s because a litlle bit brutal attack of the clutch, probably a little bit tired, than it has not allowed us to modulate, like we would have intentional, the power to the wheels.
    Lamborghini Gallardo: the car has all the modernizations introduced on SE but is 34 kg heavier. Some problem has not created us but to us there is seemed less rabid of SE tested on the number of January, feeling confirmed from the times (+0,5 s on the 0-100 km/h and +1,2 s on the 0-200 km/h).
    Porsche 911 Turbo: the German sportcar has been delivered, like of the rest all the other cars, in perfect conditions from the Porsche. The problems to the clutch are only emerged during the acceleration, what that ago to think next to under dimensioning of the system rather than to a usury bad one be.
    Handling track
    the tracing in the days of the Club was sure in optimal conditions of "tire on the asphalt" and also the weather (meteorological) has given one hand to us. we have executed the tests in the morning and in sequence soon drawn near, in order to put all and the six cars in the same conditions. The experience of these years has taught us that the performances, in this kind of test, are influenced in meaningful way from the temperature of asphalt. Afterthat, all the supercars have improved their respect time. The 2 second less we obtained from the F430 F1 are due, however, for good part to the tires PZero Corsa that they guarantee not only more grip, but also a more constant rendering in the several arc of turns. Same things for the Gallardo, equipped it too, like the SE tested on the January iussuer, with these tires .

  3. Can't belive how fast the 599 GTB is.
  4. 599 is surely a great sportcar. Surely track was been in perfect conditon, like the driver.... I'm waiting for the next iussue, I'll watch for tyres: they're the latest PZero, without an official name!!!
  5. any news on when LP640 will be tested? I hope they get a 6 speed one and not egear. the reason AMuS got such bad times for the LP640 was because the car was egear and I have heard they are VERY tricky to launch, since they are not made for launching.
  6. I'm waiting for it!!!! Strong probably they will make a super-comparison next year, aviable in late june 2007:
    2005: Enzo - CGT - Murci e-gear;
    2006: F430 - Gallardo - 997TT - Z06 - Viper - Ford GT
    2007...? 559 Vs LP640 Vs Zonda Vs SLR722?
