Very Nice.

  1. I'd love to see some numbers.

and its Styling looks a little corvette derived but thats okay.

It would be the trademark Japanese Sports Car.

I'm guessing it weighs in at a light weight 2600lbs

    pushes a generous 275HP@6500RPM
and a torque peak of 280lbft@4800RPM

and revs to a screaming 8000RPM

    Just my guess.

I think it would give an LS1 Corvette a run for its money.

But I doubt it would keep up to a LS6 Corvette.

    But thats okay.

Because if you are buying a car for Style, and perfromance.

    and over-all cool factor.

Then you might not need to look any further.

I agree, it is nice, but I think it will be heavier then what you think. I'm guessing mid 3000 lbs. You are probably right about the power.<!-- Signature -->

    yeah

Im normally an american car guy.

but the RX-7 has always been a fascinating vehicle.

I think we're probably both off about the weight, its probably something in between what we guessed.

Because the rotary engine does cut down on weight significantly.

Although its styling looks like it could have tacked on a couple hundred poiunds since the older generations.

I'm just thinking about Supra's for instance. It will have signifigant weight decrease, but the body's are generally heavy. We'll see, though.<!-- Signature -->

I don't care about the weight i would buy one of these over a vette any day. I hate the look of the vettes and i see them all the time. But this is one nice car.<!-- Signature -->

These cars weigh about 1250 kilos, which is the same as most small 4 cylinder hatchbacks.<!-- Signature -->

Id have to say this car is better looking than the vette, but the vette would smoke it any day of the week (excluding it with 40k of mods and NO2) youre right about vettes being all over though. this would be a rare sight.<!-- Signature -->
