very unique F355 with Testarossa V12 engine!

Discussion in 'Car Classifieds' started by ajzahn, Aug 11, 2007.

  1. I want that 355 challenge from classic driver.

  2. race-to-road conversion

  3. I would have thought squeezing the TR engine into the 355 was pushing it. Wonder if there's space in there for those mods.

  4. yeah except the spokes would have to be gold.

  5. Its not really a conversion. 355 Challenge were road legal in Europe. You just had to add the passenger seat if you wanted to..

    I would love one...

  9. yeah those! although I like the standart 355 rims too

  10. Normal 355 sounds allot better.

  11. I saw this car a while ago at the Meilenwerke in Dsseldorf, where I went with a mate to do the 'tour' (Aston, Bentley, Meilenwerke, Lambo (somehow I can't find the Ferrari dealer over ther)) and what you don't see from the pics, buy you do in real life, is that the back wheel arches are a bit wider than usual, which really makes the car look better imho. The engine cover is highered up a bit which looks nice, and it gives a good look at the engine.

Personally I don't see the point in replacing the V8 of a 355 with a V12 which is older, heavier, isn't exceptionally more powerful, and is placed in the car much higher than a 355's V8 : everyone knows that a Testarossa hasn't got the best of cornering and handling due to the engine being placed so high. I'd rather have a more powerful F355 (by chiptuning or something) than have this car. But if you want something exceptional, It'd be a good choice I guess...

I'll upload some pics of this car I made myself somewhere next weekend <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/smile.gif"></A>

  12. I'd rather have a stock 355

  13. If you have the money, you do what you want. There doesn't need to be an explanation.

  14. there´s no Ferrari dealership, the local Ferrari/Mercedes/Porsche/ Aston Martin/Maserati dealers are sharing the new hall while pre-owned and classic Ferraris are presented by Movendi and Thiessen

    still waitning for your pics!?

  15. Hmmm... There used to be Auto Becker in Düsseldorf, but it appears to have died a long time ago... any suggestions for a good spot to see Ferrari's in the west of the Rührgebiet?

Anyway, the pics; they're not as good as people might expect from me, but at least they show some special features of the car which you normally do not find on a F355...

  16. needs ls7 <A BORDER="0" HREF="http://www.supercars.net/PitLane?displayFAQ=y"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="pitlane/emoticons/wink.gif"></A>

Lueg Sportivo, Meerbusch (very close to Dusseldorf) now is the official dealership.

    >>> www.lueg-sportivo.de/

I´m not quite shue if it was Auto Becker or Modena Motorsport (also worth a visit, Leichlingen is just 20 kms south of Meilenwerk Dusseldorf) to swap the engine.

  18. toooooo bling, maybe black or gunmetal on those would work.
