u have a point but i still prefer the Viper

  2. Re: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

viper all the way and the first viper produced would kick that corvette ass and the day the vette beats the viper is the day hell turns good (witch will be never).

  3. Re: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

I hate dumb people. Look i am a big vette fan buti would have to say that this viper would beat the vette. It will not however eat it for breakfast, or whatever. the viper has a stronger engine no doubt. and as for handling, ne1 who says the vette cant handle is a moron. the c 5 out hanndled a porsche 911 and a bmw m5. the vette and the viper area both magnificent cars but as i said earlier the viper would probably win. but not by much.

  4. i agree

    Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

any viper can perform 100,000,000 times better than any suckyass corvette

  5. i agreeRe: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

Wrong. ur so dumb. the viper would perform 99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999,9999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999,01 times better than the corvette. nice try though

I love the Corvette Z06..but the Viper ACR would win an acceleration, track and top speed race...but the Vette gives it a good run for the money for 35 grand less than the viper acr...the stats come very close but the acr comes out performance wise better just by a little. But the vette is a better bang for ur buck...and the vette can get 26 mpg out a 5.7L that pushes out 405 hp...now thats a great car...i'd take both of these bad boyz. Look how close the stats are:

    2003 Corvette Z06 Stats:
    0-60 3.9 - 4.1 seconds
1/4 mile in 12.5 seconds at 114.9 mph
    Slalom in 70.3 mph

    Dodge Viper ACR Stats:
    0-60 3.8 - 4.1 seconds
1/4 mile in 12.2 seconds at 119.2 mph
    slalom in 70.8 mph

Oh here we go again with this Viper Vs Vette bs... the Vipers got a V10... Corvette only a V8, corvette is a very nice, everyday type of car whereas the viper is mainly just brute force for the weekends. Viper will always smoke the vette, when the vette adds a twin turbo, supercharger, or something to boost the HP at least to 500, then they'll have a chance, Until then, the Viper is the muscle car king.

  8. Re: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

AutoWeek did it already, and included the Cobra R. the '01 Z06 (which had less hp/touque than the 02) murdered both the ACR and Cobra R.

  9. Re: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

The vette is more of a between-meal snack for the viper. You know, like chips or crackers and whatnot.

  10. Re: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

Definetly. This Viper is close to the today Z06. The SRT-10 will be a great match for tomorrow's Z06 and C6.

  11. Re: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

yes the viper is faster but theres a considerably big price gap between the cars, plus any ive hear that the c6 zo6 is suposed to have around 500hp so that should even the 2 out.

  12. Re: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

viper ACR looks like crap a Saab could beat it when its in park ( which is the same as driving one). V-10 more like a hamster on a running wheel. Suck on that punk

  13. Re: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

I'd go with the Viper in any form. while I have the utmost respect for the Corvette, I believe that the Viper would beat it. By how much...

    that's a different story.

  14. Re: Viper ACR vs Corvette Z06

Both the ACR and the Z06 are specifically meant for the track. Given their statistics, I think it would be a very close race indeed, in fact, I really don't think you could call it without actually racing them against each other. Neither would destroy the other, that's for sure.

  15. Once again, I referred to the wrong race... This response refers not to sebring, but a prelim held by the scca on the same track. Sorry.
