I never thought this was possible. The atom has always been about low weight and simplicity. I never thought they´d shove a (small) V8 in there! The only thing that can compare to this in terms of power to weight ratios is the Caparo T1! Granted, this will never be as fast as the T1, but it´s waaaaaaay cheaper!
if they haven't added low speed DF or a way to restrict power and torque, it's gonna be awful to drive. Also. 4WD? Owen, you fool . if it does have 4WD, it might have the grip it need to be road tolerable.
yes, actually they did. the aero kit that was once optional on the earlier atoms is now standard. it has a giant rear wing and sizable front wings. did you even see images of it? http://www.supercars.net/carpics/4203/2008_Ariel_Atom5001.jpg
If they keep the topspeed limited to 155mph, than it may have a chance to impress with lower speed handling, assuming that it is remotely possible to keep the power to the ground. Also, the extra weight from the V8 is going to throw the center of mass, so high-speed stability might be a joke even in a straight line, and most certainly add oversteer issues.
W....T....F?!?..., seriously this absolutely makes no what so ever, please tell me this isn't there idea to compete against the Caparo T1.
