lol. For real guys you all do need to have a sense of humor i thought what he said was funny as shit, but everyone else cant enjoy a good laugh here and there, i mean damn guys lighten up. Oh yea and about the car its pretty sweet for how old it is.

  2. Re: Imagine this car with N.O.S. ehehehe

just so ya know...NOS DOES stand for Nitrous Oxide Systems. its a company in cali. san diego i believe. there is no sulfer to be spoken off. NO2 is the true chemical formula. the suffixe and 'ide' in oxide has to do with the amount of electrons in the atom and the charge of the atom. nitrous doesnt eat your engine as long as it is burnt and disspelled quickly enough. it does increase horsepower and can be used in just about any engine as long as its been made strong enough to take the extra preasure during combustion. although i still wouldnt advise puttin it in a clasic like this...

  3. Re: Imagine this car with N.O.S. ehehehe

    good thinking fj.

  4. Re: Imagine this car with N.O.S. ehehehe

Just look at the tires on this car...
1st of all, you need fatter tires. Pirelli Pzeros
THEN drop in a modern, reliable engine. Big block V8 maybe?
    Then some Recaros
You won't need the NOS after that
The thing weighs only 1455 lbs, so with the V8, you'll be plenty fast.<!-- Signature -->

It probably wouldn't be 1455 lb. anymore after you stuck the big block in there. <IMG SRC="http://www.supercars.net/servlets/cMsg/html/emoticons/smile.gif">

  9. Re: Imagine this car with N.O.S. ehehehe

You think bigger tires will solve your problems for a new engine? What good will 20 inch race tire do if it still has no suspension and the 1912 axles. Now youre worse off then before. The car is not balanced anymore. I personally think cars like this should not be touched at all. <!-- Signature -->

  10. Re: Imagine this car with N.O.S. ehehehe

They didnt have NOS back then. But what did they have instead....

  11. Re: Imagine this car with N.O.S. ehehehe

This car wasnt' made in Japan there fore doesn't need NOS to be brought up to speed with the rest of the cars in it's class. I can see that he ment it as a hypothetical question but seriously what kind of question is that? I want to find someone who would actually put NOS in a 1912 racer. I'd kick the crap outta them for idiocy

  12. Re: Imagine this car with N.O.S. ehehehe

Ha Ha. NOS. That would blow the shit out of the Model T. That would be funny as hell. It is gonna blow the hell out of the Water Cooled

Douchebag. Only pussy cars need nos, and regardless of this cars origin, i would rather have it over a civic with 10000hp from nos, so shut the h#ll up.<!-- Signature -->

    imagining cars with nos?

i think everyone in this forum is trying to display there tech knowhow on a joke. #$%# people the person who started this forum is mucking arround cause he obviously knows that every single time there is a post with anything to do with nos (n2o as i will later explain) everyone goes mental posting shit which they all know best about... "ohh you can put nos in that itd blow up" "my civic has a 1000hp shot of nos and does a 9 sec qtr mile". this fella is obviously playing on you dicks and taking it to the extreme with this old suiza. of course you arnt seriously going to put N2O in it. but wait some dicks say ohh you could if you put a new engine . then someone else ohh and new wheals and tyres to handle the power. then someone else, yeah and a body kit and finnaly someone who is soo keen to show there technical knowhow yes but youd need new axels. i mean really its just mucking arround fellas

i dont know to much about the effect of nitrous oxide on engines since i have no expireance in actually owning a car which it is fitted or worked closely with any that do. but i do know some shit. all i know is that

N20 is just a molecule with an oxygen atom in it. we need oxygen to combust and get power. more oxygen = more combustion = more power thats why we like it. N20 is not explosive by itself. its not a fuel like gasoline or petrol (leaded or unleaded dickweeds) its just supplies the oxygen needed soo these fuels can burn more quickly and in greater amounts more effeciantly. N20 allows us to inject more petrol and not worry about running rich since we taylor the amount of N2O we add soo we supply the right amount of fuel and oxygen for a clean and efficient combustion with maximum power.
Sometimes dicks get it wrong and the amounts are different which results in a #$%#ed engine some way or another. Also no engine is bullet proof and there is a limit on how much power an engine can hold b4 it explodes. usually factory engines are well below there limits especially small JAP yes japenese 4 cylinders which includes everyones pet hate car on this site the venerable honda civic. this makes them prime candidates for increased power via more petrol and n20 to supply the extra oxygen needed.

the formular is for the happy go fast gas is N2O to the dick who is using his high school chem knowledge and says its NO2 im sorry your wrong there is many compounds of nitrogen and oxygen its true the most common and simplest by way of covalent electron pair bonding is NO2 but the formular for the nitrogen and oxygen compound used in cars is N20 two nitrogen atoms and one oxygen the name given to this comound is nitrous oxide where as NO2 is nitrogen dioxide

NOS are the initials of a company which sells nitrous oxide (N2O) kits for cars as the other guy who seems to know what hes talking about said the company is nitrous oxide systems get it retards.. everytime you say i think they should put nos in this car you are saying i think they should put nitrous oxide systems in the car ... hmm real inteligent how about you just stick to N20 or nitrous oxide fellas i know you wont sound as cool to your buddies when you are trying to show off how much you know about cars but at least youll be right.

ohh and by the way wouldnt it be mad if we put a big turbo in this and then dropped the suspension.. who thinks it could beet a ZO6 then oops did i mention a comparison with a ZO6 better start a new forum

    :D

  16. Re: Imagine this car with N.O.S. ehehehe

yes u better have started a new forum any idiot that disses chevrolet better kno their cars they gunna talk bout..... (and that chevy rocks muahahahahah)

1455 lbs wow kinda light put a 454 engine in there and maybe just maybe it could reach 150 mph mush mush!!!!!!!!!!!

but damn for that bhp and the time id say this was a great supercar and nos? sucka! only a fool wud use nos. its just "another engine" for ure car cuz ure original honda engine sucks and any other one muahaah

  17. Re: Imagine this car with N.O.S. ehehehe

Well, ItŽs my first time in this forum. I thought that this was going to be a meeting point for people that loves cars and not just another place full of baby boys without knowledge about anything but fat tyres, truckŽs motors and many other stupid american influences.
The car above you are talking about is part of the past, the beginning of the european way of building motor cars.... technic instead of animal strength. This itŽs not a vulgar chevy.

  21. Re: this is not a supercar so .........

It's called heritage you ignorant prick. In it's day this car was probably something incredible. Hell, it was around this time period that Henry Ford set the land speed record at 90 mph! You can't simply ignore the roots of today's cars just because the numbers they put up are no longer anything impressive. Who knows? Maybe in another 90 years cars will go 700 mph and hit 0-100 in 1.9....would that make the McLaren F1 or Ferrari F50 pieces of shit?
